DMV, Goshen NY

This website lists the hours of the DMV today, Tuesday to be 4: 30. I just walked in at 4: 05 to find out they closed at 4: 00. They posted an orange sign in the government building come up but never bothered to update the internet. Thank you for wasting my time

My experience with the DMV at Goshen was fantastic. Ample parking, quick and thorough security check, knowledgeable staff all around, swift and professional service, & a clean atmosphere and safe environment.

Nicest and cleanest local government offices I’ve evert been. Staff was efficient and friendly. I had to register a new car and the process to about 15-20 mins.

Everyone we dealt with today was helpful from security through to where we lined up, to the ticket counter and the lady who was being trained. It was a nice atmosphere and took the usual stress out of a usual "office run. "

BEST part of the whole experience is ED at the front desk. He is so knowledgeable and helpful and makes sure you have what you need to make the process smooth.

Can't complain about waiting a half an hour. I didn't have an appointment. About a 5 to 1 wait time if you don't have an appointment. The person I delt with was kind and wasn't upset I missed a few things. Just keep in mind, this was just my experience.

The best DMV experience I've ever had. Everyone from security to actual DMV workers were super duper friendly. I was in and out within an hour. Im extremely impressed and would recommend this place to everyone and will go there for any of my future DMV needs. Really happy I went there.

For a dmv i had a great experience in and out within half hr to get new plates, as long as you have ur paperwork completed and know what your talking about its not a problem

My experience was very easy and quick. You first enter the building and have to go through a metal detector but once you go through the total experience is not bad at all. The people are nice and friendly can asks questions very knowledgeable. My wait to the DMV was maybe 5 or 10 minutes not many people waiting to go to windows. Just overall quick and easy.

Take time to schedule an appointment, it's much easier and faster. I was in/out in less than a half hour, as a result. Super!

BEST DMV I've EVER been to. I had an appointment. Was in and out in 15 minutes. Short wait, friendly staff. Newburgh DMV is a nightmare. Never going to another DMV.

The building is nice and most of the staff as well. I unfortunately got a woman named Andrea at window 4 today. She let me take a new picture and gave me a total for my new license. Right before swiping my card she told me she couldn’t help me bc of an unresolved issue. When I tried to show her paperwork documenting that the issue had been resolved. She told me she didn’t want to see it. This woman was just disrespectful and unhelpful.

Appointment scheduling was issue free. The one and only positive. However, the woman behind the counter was rude and just down right nasty. I needed a duplicate registration because it was lost in the mail. I had all the info with me signed and a copy of my husband’s license because the registration is in his name. She wouldn’t put it through and said my husband needed to be there in person. Didn’t seem to care that my temporary registration was expired. Basicly said it wasn’t her fault. So with that I went to Middletown DMV. Thankfully was able to make appt that same day. I walked in was seen in 5 minutes and issued me my new registration. That’s how it should go. So thank you Middletown DMV. I’ll never go to Goshen again!

Excellent No lines, short wait. Avoid here Monday's and Friday's. I was here Tuesday late am.
