Do Good Spirits, Roscoe NY

We drove about 2 hrs to get here and I would drive double that to visit this great place. Absolutely loved it. Beautiful building, welcoming and tasting didn't disappoint. Actually better than I expected. Will be my go too for all these wonderful spirits. Thank you it was great.

Great distillery in the small town of Roscoe nestled between the rolling Adirondacks. I felt welcome and purchased the bourbon cream which comes in a beautiful bottle and tastes even better. I’ll be back this way just to stop by!

My favorite distillery. The tasting is free and donations go to charity. The vodka and gin are my favorite and I love their new bourbon cream drink. Bottles are a good price and staff is super knowledgeable. I reccomend this tasting for a small group cause the venu is small. It's a cool place and it's in an old firehouse.

Great distillery! Mark gave us an awesome tasting, which made picking out bottles easy. After our tasting we enjoyed cocktails outside. They had live music, which was a plus. Also, DOG FRIENDLY:) Will be back.

Distillery in a small, historic town. Good vodka, gin & whiskey. The cream bourbon is delicious. We always support local, at home & when traveling.

We had went a few months prior for a tasting and everyone was wonderful and friendly. We stopped by a second time to pick up a bottle for ourselves and the owner himself was not wearing a mask and talking to people who were also unmasked. He proceeded to ask us to put a mask on and we thought he was joking, and he said he did not have one on him and that it is in his office, meanwhile there was a box of masks ready to be worn at the cash register. The cashier proceeded to apologize for the owner (Keith’s) “abrasive” behavior. I found the hypocrisy slightly unsettling.

Four stars for the staff and liquor itself.

Stopped by on the way home from a business trip and the owner gave us (myself & 2 coworkers) a detailed explanation and taste test of their various offerings (vodkas, gins, bourbons). Great products and friendly atmosphere. Wish we could’ve stayed longer, but next trip we’ll budget more time. Highly recommend and double bonus for supporting our veterans.

THIS PLACE RIGHT HERE! From the second I messaged them on Instagram with a question, to the end of the visit, this is truly an incredible place. Very few distilleries have included, not only a guide who has such a vast knowledge AND passion for their spirits, but the spirits themselves truly show the hard work, dedication, and attention to detail they put into every bottle. I can't believe how much we learned, and the EXCELLENT quality of EVERY spirit! This was the first time my husband rated every single one 5 stars. One thing about vodka.not many people can make something so SEEMINGLY simple, something worth really paying attention to, and yet before we even walked in, a couple that was walking out said to us "GET THE VODKA! " They were absolutely right, and we came out with a box filled with aged gin, vodka, and more.but only one box of course, because according to the credit card companies, limits are necessary.

I was so impressed with the kindness and excellent customer service. It was our first time there, but they made us feel so welcome. Every part of our experience was truly exceptional, and we cant wait to come back!

Tasting was fabulous. Julie was very knowledgeable and informative. Loved it. Went home with a new bottle of bourbon for the collection.

Great place! You can taste everything for free (suggested donation that goes to a charity), and ours tasting was run by a very charismatic guy. The vodka is incredibly smooth and their take on Bailey's is delicious!

Our tasting was done by the head distiller and he was very funny and provided a good experience. Tasting was free, but they do ask for a donation to a great cause.

Amazing place, amazing product. If you like bourbon, gin or vodka, you owe it to yourself to experience what they make.

Stopped in for a tour and tasting while on vacation in the region. Great tour and experience while we visited the distillery. Purchased a bottle of bourbon 49.00 plus tax and a bottle of bourbon cream for 35.00. Enjoyed both. I checked on line when home from vacation and bourbon was for sale on Caskers for 35 plus shipping. Total price to have it delivered was about 49.00. That really doesn’t make sense to me. The distillery is forcing me to pay bust out retail markup for visiting their location. I sent an email to the distillery asking about their pricing strategy and received no response. Won’t visit again or purchase their products again. Angels Envy 10 yr is for sale anywhere for 40.00 and change…. Really want to support local businesses but I can’t justify the payment premium.

I only visited the store portion of the business, as I was traveling home and decided to take a quick look since the highway sign said it was close. I'm a whiskey person, so I figured let me see if there is anything to my taste. They had a bourbon and a whisky that was a blend of the bourbon and a rye. It's their rye but I didn't see rye for sale in it's own. I'm sure it's a nice visit and the tasting room and the bar/eating/hangout area would also be pretty good if it's any reflection of the store. I will review the bourbon, in a different post.

Using the word hidden gem would not do this place justice…best chicken sandwich I’ve had in quite some time, there’s a reason there isn’t a Popeyes or chick filet here…those franchises wouldn’t last! Oh and the staff was super friendly. GREAT FIND!
