Docks Oyster Bar NYC reviews
15Came for a work event and was thoroughly impressed with the menu, the drinks, and the portion sizes. The lighting was excellent, the staff were attentive and friendly, and even as we were closing out the night everyone had big smiles. Looking forward to coming back!
Awesome seafood spot with impeccable service in a location you are least expecting to find it.
Nice venue/atmosphere, i went during happy our for the oysters, but the oysters were absolutely tiny which was not worth their price.
One of the best places in New York to have fresh fish. Not a huge selection but always well prepared and with a variety of classic or unusual sides. Also the place where we had the best mussels (Moules Marinière) in NYC. They also have several meat dishes which we haven’t tried yet. Substitutions are possible, e.g. Replacing french fries by green asparagus if you want to go a little lighter.
The food was great, but the portion was small. A single soft shell crab as a main for $42.
Wrong main dish came out so had a disjointed meal.
Every time I go to Docks it’s always really great / I love sitting at bar and being served by EMILY whose absolutely amazing and attentive
The oysters suck, they’re so small. Definitely second being ignored by the bartenders during happy hour. Waited 20 minutes for calamari which never came and I told him to cancel it. Waste of time and $$$
We had a lovely meal at Chuck’s Oyster bar in New York City. It’s a wonderful restaurant with excellent food. The service was top notch. We had a wonderful dinner and I highly recommend docs oyster bar.
Great seafood they do need to work sourcing more clams they ran out of varietals. Service was fast and attentive!
Everything was great however we got a rough waiter. Seemed like he was overwhelmed. Overall we were happy. Food great
Such good price for such good quality during HH 5-7, free bread cause they loved us too! I'll be back
I love Dock’s, is a must if you are in Ny. The atmosphere is great in the evenings. The food is amazing and the lobster is a 10/10.
One of the best places in Midtown for Fish & Chips! And bread basket lol. They have the tastiest bread basket. Very busy during lunch hours so be sure to get a reservation. It's very nice and spacious inside, not at all cramped.the host and wait staff always friendly.
I had the crab cake sandwich. It was very delicious. I will definitely be going back to try other things. Great place.
A restaurant where you can enjoy seafood in general. Compared to 30 years ago, the sushi menu has increased, centering on rolls. It's nothing to write home about, but there are no negative points either. I gave it 3 stars, but it feels like 3.5.
I think it's the best shop for easy fun.
