Dollar General, Bath NY

Dollars too dollars offered by there sales of eclectic merchandise and various Mercantile items, from hardware to food stuffs is all at a pricing that is advantageous to the buyer, in all categories of shopping.

Sad to say, this location shut down on the hill past Elkland PA. Buttttt the Elkland PA DG is up and running very well. Stocked, clean and extra hoodies other DG's don't always carry

I love Dollar General, but this one in Bath, NY, is very dirty and run down building, the parking lot is terrible to get into. They always have a long line, because only one register is running and they are frequently out of things we need. Today the cashier was complaining of not being able to get anything done because of customers.

Good for cheap house cleaning supplies and some other things. Would not suggest buying electronics.

Great place to stop for whatever you need while traveling. The stores are seemingly everywhere, unlike Walmart, which only inhabits large towns.

Some things are not bad price wise but a good place to stop if your in a hurry or need one item

The 1st and only Big Store Boycott Walmart self checkouts. If General Dollar Dosent have it.you dont need it. Big Shopping in a small Store

I've always liked this store it really has many items for a dollar and a big variety. The people who work there are always very helpful and polite.

Cramped but good selection.too many displays filling the isles to the point it borders on fire code violations

Very difficult to get around in due to merchandise pallets and carts blocking almost every isle. Near impossible if you have a cart.

Store always seems a bit cluttered (boxes half unpacked left unattended on the floor making navigating a cart tedious, items mistocked or mislabeled, etc) but staff is generally friendly if not exactly knowledgeable about merchandise; not unlike many of the discount stores. The last time I attempted to use the restroom it was out of soap, toilet paper and a bit messy, which surprised me because its typically rather tidy and stocked. I mentioned it to the clerk that checked me out, and he said he'd make sure it would be addressed at shift change. I found that a little strange because there were 3 employees standing around the counter and I was the only person checking out, and noticed only 2 other cars in the parking lot. I'm still giving it 4 stars because the service is usually much better and the pricing can be quite competitive, especially with the revamped Dollar General App (the previous version was horrible). I'd also like to say the older manager that's usually on duty is always very helpful and friendly.

I went to the Dollar General on route 415 Bath 14810 got knocked out by a woman pushing a stock cart her name is Michael Cook she said that I was 2 small she didn't even see me apologize and helped me up am hurt but when I tried to do an inns a dent report no one has a clue where or how to make out a report said I am 2 small 2 be seen around the cart they have to stock so would rather I shop some were else and said sorry about that and yes got knocked down took about 5 min.s 2 get me up hurting and no one knows what 2 do I was hurt and embarrassing she keep saying that I am 2 small 2 be there no help but I got all the information I could

Buy most of our cleaning and paper products here. Always have the products in stock. Friendly staff.
