Dollar General, Mattydale NY

I was at the door like 15 mins before close and she locked the door in my face it was rude and I will not being going back

The dirtiest, unmaintained, and nastiest Dollar General we have ever set foot in. THIS PLACE NEEDS HELP! I felt like I needed a Tetanus Shot after leaving. Definitely didn't purchase anything.

The employees are usually very polite, but that line moves like molasses. And be prepared to be cut in line when a second register opens.

I'm pretty new to the store. I understand it's the holiday season but all the unpacked stock in shopping lanes was not good. The lanes in the store are very narrow. I suggest (if) you have another place to put the stock before it's put on the store shelf store it there and do one lane at a time or one dolly at a time. The customers will have an easier time getting around the store.
All the employees stayed very busy shelving product up front and the cashiers were very patient as people came up front to check out. I was very happy with the customer service. I'll return after the holidays to update. There is good parking.

Place is a mess you kill yourself trying get around there people out there that will work not standing around this store been like this for months

Store is always a mess, hard to find items when there’s product all over the place. Employees always outside smoking. I don’t understand why management hasn’t handled the way this store operates. I can say employees always have masks on during my recent visits.

Very nice workers, good prices and I can get in and out with what I need in no time at all

This is one of my favorite stores. They have a great selection, workers are always working their hardest, and they are so friendly at the register.

Some of the deals are good but this place is nasty. Stuff is just thrown around, piled onto each other, there's always stuff in the aisles, I only come here because the dollar tree is now closed down the street and I live really close.

This place is always dirty! No one respecting the social distancing rules. Employees were not wearing mask/face covers and a lot of the patrons were walking around the store without mask/face covers! Irresponsible! No excuses!

Not helpful with finding items Alway out smoking. Looks bad for business. Alway asking if you want to donate, but I was 10 cents short one day and I spent at least 20-60 dollars weekly and wouldn't let me go until the next visit.

They are really messy stuff all over the place frozen food on the floor I would not buy anything cold from there and cashier was on personal phone while checking me out and didn't give me any attention

Very convenient to my store the only thing I don't like about it is that is very messy you don't have enough employees in the store to take care of it

Great prices.usually find what I'm looking for. Just save an extreme amount of money on the 70%off clearance items!

Don't ever seem to have my black cherry water and I always have to go to other stores to search for it.

It is better orginized after being shut down. But they need to get a new manager. She is never there to help. Alway a line with only one person to cash you out. Manager is either in office or outside with noyfriend. Never helps other employees.
