Dollar Tree reviews
12Best store everrrr! Currently I see new employees and customer service is now amazing, store in cleaner, cashiers are polite. My favorite place to go to for lots of my needs, especially crafting supplies. The male manager there is always working on making the store as perfect as possible and he trains them really well. I only had one rude experience there with I believe she was an assistant manager and she's gone.
It's not Dollar Tree any more, it's just Tree because everything costs more than a dollar.
I can always inexpensive gift wraps, bags etc. The store could be a bit more organized. It seems to have enough staff on hand. Instead, they appear to be standing around.
The layout of the products are not inviting and does not entice you to browse.
Today Saturday after Thanksgiving, I made several calls to various Dollar Tree locations around the Bronx. I was looking for 3 specific items & honestly didn't want to take "tons" of buses in the Bronx looking for them. With all the stresses we've all had in the past year, I was ready to not get anywhere over the phone. But was quite surprised & actually humbled that all the stores I called, a human answered & all were super nice to look & see if they had any of the items in their inventory. Sadly, none of the stores had any on hand. But this particular location went above & beyond! A gentleman by the name of Kevin asked me for the SKU#'s of the items. He checked for 2 of the 3 items & no luck finding any. He checked for the 3rd item & saw there were lots of it on hand but that he would have to check the boxes to see if the ones I were looking for were part of the inventory. He asked to please call back in 20 minutes or so. I did & a young woman answered & said that Kevin is still searching for the item I asked for. Wow! I felt so special & humbled once more! I called back an hour later, (to give him some time) & Kevin answered this time. He was so nice & by the tone of his voice I quickly knew that he didn't find any. I was a little bummed about it but I'm super grateful & humbled that we still have people like Kevin & like the other Dollar Tree employees that helped me today. They truly went out of their way to please & help a customer with such a request & over the phone! Dollar Tree & the employees like Kevin totally rock in my book! Thank you so much for going above & beyond! (Btw, the items were: a particular Christmas mug with paw prints; ceramic magnets with paw prints & a particular kitchen towel with paw prints.)
I go to this dollar tree every day and nothing changes. I work right next door to this dollar tree and I try to stop and get my lunch from there and no matter how long the lines are the other workers and or managers won’t open another register or offer to help. I’ve wasted about three breaks on my 10 hour shift days standing in line with only 3-4 items. I know nothing is gonna change and this review won’t really be heard but it’s super annoying I only get a 30 min break per shift and almost every break I’m online for 15-20 min by time I get back to my job I’m rushing to eat my food.
Great store for basic necessities, aluminum foil, water, food storage containers, bags and paper towels
Totally unorganized. Messy, No Assistance except for the young man who was organizing the different baskets to put things back. The young ladies were just chatting amongst themselves.long lines and only 2 registers open. Sad!
We have two Dollar Trees in my area and I shop at either depending on what else I am doing.
The stores have a variety of items ranging from food to crafts, cards, medical basics, kitchen ware, storage items, school supplies, books, party, cleaning supplies etc.
The key to successful shopping is to remember you are shipping for an item at $1.25: quantity and quality are limited. A bottlee of spice or plastic container are fine but you won't find a screwdriver with a lifetime warranty!
The second key is to rember staffing is limited so lines can be long and stock can be in the aisles awaiting shelving.
Bottom line is that with patience and a discerning eye useful bargains can be found.
****Closes at 9pm now****
Almost all of these high positive reviews are fake.
Messy and not very well stocked. Aisles blocked by thousands of unopened boxes. Lacks a lot of items available even in other dollar tree stores. There's one on Gun Hill nearby with far more items. The longest wait times I've ever had in a store. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I waited in a line exactly 57 minutes that stretched to the BACK of the store AND DOWN ANOTHER AISLE just to check out 2 items. I only go here if absolutely necessary. I don't blame the cashiers. The cashiers try to go as fast as possible but they aren't hiring enough and they're swamped.
Got what I wanted. Find things you didn't see before. The workers are helpful.
Happy Easter.
One of my favorites stores to quickly grab what I need for lesser price. However, it's now $1.25 per item (price increase) from $1.i guess inflation
