Dollar Tree, Hicksville NY

Nice store, free parking. Today the store was not as stocked as it usually is. I am assuming because of the upcoming holidays, they are running a bit low on stock.

Some blonde woman was literally yelling at customers. They had several registers but supposedly one line, that wasn't marked. They literally stopped ringing me up to move baskets that were in no ones way at all, literally just stacked on top of the other basket there.

This is not how to do customer service. The cashier said "we try to be nice but people don't listen so we get mean. " That is not customer service. Poor management, poor training, is the root of the problem. And I'm sure wages are an issue as well.

I saw the bad reviews and I went because it was most convenient. Highly recommend no one else make the same mistake.

Corporate should really take a visit to this store. Barbara is rude, cashiers are nasty. Disorganized and disgusting.

This store had name brand frozen foods selling for $3 & $5 in a store that all items are supposed to be for $1.25. Why is that?

Very rude cashiers. This is the 3rd time I got nasty attitudes from the cashier. There was a line backed up, and I was next so I put my goods on the conveyer belt, and the cashier yelled at me, that she didn't call me and questioned if I really waited on line. I had been patiently waiting for 10 minutes! I'll have to go to a different dollar store!

The only thing I can say good is the prices here. The place is very dirty and messed up. The place just seems cheap not the products but just the store itself.

There are a few very specific things I go there for. Especially good for stationery. Good for toothpaste and the like, and sometimes they get something interesting in tools and hardware. I find with dollar stores you have to very picky. Some real gems, some OK stuff, and some not-so-much.

The place is such a huge mess with things scattered on the floor. I waited about 15 minutes to pay sine there was only one cashier. But I understand that you can't have too high of expectations at such establishments. The prices are great if you can find what you need.

Watch out for the expiration dates on snacks and drinks from here happened to me a couple of times, and didn’t realize it until I got all the way home.
