Italian Restaurant Domenico's reviews
20Went to a retirement Christmas party at this place, The service and food was outstanding and employees were kind, I highly recommend a stop here for great tasting food.
THIS PLACE ROCK'S! Food is always delicious and the delivery crew knows how to follow tricky addresses ie: If your residence is on a corner / have a private entrance. Delivery has always been on point. Domenick, thank you for the great food and competent staff.
I always enjoy going there. I have been going there for several years! The food is always fresh and full of flavor. Also the service is always friendly and fast.
Also the prices are more reasonable than a pizza parlor across the street.
We had my Son's wedding rehearsal dinner, which was a great price for service and food.
I haven't been here in over a decade.took my gf here and had a great meal with excellent service.
I have been coming here since the 80s, I absolutely love their food, their tomato sauce is amazing. However the place is really run down, there needs to be upgrades to bathrooms. More cleaning and dusting. Toilets did not work, no soap and it was freezing in the back room on a November night. (there were plenty of people with their coats on) On top of this the waitress brought us soda we didn’t ask for after we initially ordered one carafe and we were charged an extra $4.00 for. I suggest not being seated in the back area. ‘Bbe seated in the main rooms if you don’t want to be cold or consider taking out only and enjoying at home. Do not use the bathrooms.
Thank you for the outstanding menu and service for our luncheon yesterday, Widow & Widowers of St. Barnabas in Bellmore. Received so many compliments.just passing them on. THANK YOU!
The bathroom is filthy and still looks the same as it did in the 80's. It's literally falling apart. The food was not great at all. The fish and chicken cutlets are so thin and not very tasty. The dining room floor is completely filthy. The corners are caked with dirt and grime. Would never come here again. I don't know who still comes here. It's sad really
The food, the ambiance, the service, the drinks, the views, the coolest menu i have ever seen, everything is 5 stars
Very good food. Good service. Very deceptive as this place looks tiny from outside but has is cavernous. Family type Italian Restaurant with moderate pricing. In shopping center, parking on site.
Was expecting something great because the reviews were really good. The place is tucked away in a corner of this shopping area, but when you go inside it is tremendous. I got the sausage and pepper hero. It was OK. The wife got sole francaise which was good, but her pasta had marinara sauce that tasted like tomato paste from a can.
Great place to hang out and have a few drinks with friends and family. The food was great and the pitcher of margarita ended the hot day just perfectly.
It's been a long time since I've been to Domenico's and Im happy to say it was almost everything I remembered from my childhood.
The restaurant still looked as I remembered with pizza by the slice in front and a sit-down area in the back. It really looked the same as in the 90s but not dated (if that makes sense).
The food was delicious. I had veal parmesan with spaghetti. The only thing that was different from my childhood is that the bread bowl didn't have the sesame breadsticks but when I went next door to the bakery where they came from they no longer sell the breadsticks so I guess times change.
Today I came into the restaurant with my autistic 5 year old son and the guy behind the counter snapped at me. He didn’t want my son to touch the glass cabinet. I don’t know if he was the owner or just the manager but I’ll never return to this restaurant again.
This has been my family's pizza place my entire life. I live out of state and had to order my Dad a dessert for Father's Day while he was dining in, and I wanted to pay with my card over the phone. As annoying as that whole process can be with giving the card number and friggen expiration with bad reception and all. These kind, patient men who work at this place were prompt and professional with taking my order and payment over the phone and bringing the cannoli to the guy in the Mets t-shirt who ordered a small pizza. The manager knew immediately who I was talking about, delivered the cannoli, and wished him a happy father's day on my behalf. No hassle and very reasonably-priced desserts. Great food, great service, great staff! Get the fried zucchini.
The waiter was a true professional and his timing was impeccable. The restaurant has a great ambiance, an old world feel, elegant without being stuffy.
In my personal opinion from someone who has been eating here for about 40 plus years and has tasted pizza from all over the country and overseas, Domenico's still has the best plain cheese pizza around
No attention to details nor attention to quality ingredients.kids food was tasteless! Why? This place was a legacy in italian food in one point.the sons need to turn the place around!
invest, invest and invest! Not just money, but efforts and focus to earn customer's trust back. Start with fixing up the place.
Large seating capacity suitable for parties and extremely nice and professional staff, serving a massive menu of quality food.
Huge parking lot.
I don’t know why I haven’t been here in years probably bc my sister who lived in Levittown moved to Nevada
However went last night with some friends and I must say was the best shrimp Marinara I have eaten in the longest time.
Staff was friendly and food was delicious we all left full and with leftovers
