Attentive and friendly service!
However, it’s a white people place, music wasn't my taste, and dancing isn’t allowed.
Had no intention to dance, but this sign is ridiculous!

Loved every minute of our night at this cozy piano bar! The drinks were delicious and the entertainment was great

Our visit to this bar, recommended by a friend of my partner, turned out to be a regrettable choice. Judging by the pictures, we anticipated a nice venue, but unfortunately, the reality fell far short of our expectations.

The bar itself desperately needs a makeover – it's outdated and shows signs of wear and tear. Our hope for an enjoyable evening featuring a classy piano show and high-quality tunes was shattered when the entertainment turned out to be nothing more than loud shouting, creating an unpleasant noise rather than a pleasant atmosphere.

To add insult to injury, we ordered cocktails priced at a staggering $20 each, only to discover that they were nothing more than poorly concocted mixes of juice and spirits. It's baffling why this place charges such exorbitant prices for subpar cocktails when you can get much better options elsewhere in the city for the same amount.

The service was equally disappointing. The server, a persistent lady, came to our table five times, even when we weren't ready to order. It felt intrusive, and a simple "we'll call you when we're ready" seemed to fall on deaf ears. When we eventually decided to settle our bill without even touching the disappointing cocktails, there was no inquiry about our dissatisfaction or any attempt to rectify the situation.

Ultimately, we wasted $40 and an evening in NYC. As visitors from London, we expected a more memorable experience. If you're in search of high-quality drinks and a refined bar atmosphere, I strongly advise against choosing this place. For the same $40, you could buy quality gin and Campari, make a superior Negroni at home, and enjoy your night with better music in the background. Save your money and look elsewhere for a truly enjoyable night out.

The host is quite rude. I've been here multiple times and the hospitality tonight is less than desirable.

These so called chicken tenders were burnt to a crisp and the drink were not good. But kudos for the pizza and entertainment

Lovely little hideaway of calm entertainment in midtown. Great place for a simple escape from the city. Friendly staff. I did not not eat their so will not be rating the food.

My review is for the showroom, not the piano bar. The music was great and service was very friendly. I did not enjoy the “cocktails” I had. Very overpriced and it was just a liquor with juice and slice of lime, not a cocktail I expected. Next time I will just order wine or bee. Also the idea that you have to order everything before the show starts does not make any sense, because I was stuck with drinks I didn’t like…

We entered wanting to see a Piano Bar because my boyfriend is a professional pianist visiting the USA. As we entered, we asked the man at the door (tall, possibly the owner or the host) if they invited guests to play songs. I explained that my boyfriend is a professional pianist. He said yes.

So we sat down and as per the pianist (Danny) asked, we sent our song requests via Venmo. We paid $20 and indicated that my boyfriend would like to play while Danny sang with him.

We waited and waited. Our songs were never played and when we asked, the waitress (blonde with two pigtails) told us that “he doesn’t even check his Venmo until the end of the night. ” For us this was shocking. Why would you tell your guests to request songs via Venmo if you won’t even look until after your shift?

So we took the other route and wrote our requests and message on a napkin. After another 30 min, the pianist apologized and acknowledged us and said “sorry, I’m not allowed to let anyone else touch the piano. ”

My boyfriend works at a piano bar so this is understandable…but why would the owner/man at the door tell us something else? We stayed for this opportunity. We spent $100+ on drinks waiting for our chance. And worse, why is the pianist asking for requests via Venmo yet the waitress is saying he doesn’t even look at his Venmo until the end of the night? When I asked the tall man/owner why he told me that my boyfriend would be allowed to play, he said “this pianist is new and is not the regular person so he has his own rules. ”

How can you possibly claim ownership or even claim that you work at a place if you cannot back up what you told your guests an hour ago?

For us, allowing my boyfriend to play the piano for a song was an opportunity that we were able excited about upon entering “Don’t Tell Mama. ” We weren’t expecting it and were happily surprised. He plays every night at a piano bar, so the fact that he didn’t play tonight is not that huge of a deal. For us, the issue is the deception. The lack of communication and deception from the workers of this place is absurd. In addition, the fact that they encourage guests to request songs via Venmo yet do not honor or even review them is ridiculous.

Overall, the drinks and service were fine although my boyfriend ordered 3 drinks and never got the third so we had to ask to remove that from the bill.

What a cool place! We came on a Monday night and Randy, our bartender, was definitely a highlight. He made amazing drinks, sang incredibly, and we all just adored him. I'm honestly jealous of the locals because if I lived in New York, I'd come here all the time. Next time I'm in the city, this is a must!

If you're used to the normal, tradition piano bar this is not that. The musicians aren't very good and the atmosphere is strange. I'm sure it's a godd place for other people, but not for me.

Quite rude service. We spent 90 dollars on mediocre food and drinks. Waitress left and asked us to settle bill which we did, then we wanted one more glass of wine but the new waitress (Elaine) insisted on new 2 drink minimum despite our previous bill…and told us we had to leave because we only wanted one more glass of wine. Avoid.

Don’t forget your cash! A great establishment, great food and service. It is insanely stupid in 2023 to not take credit cards.
