Dos Toros Taqueria, New York NY

First time I know this place, very nice atmosphere, comfortable, delicious food. However, the TERRIBLE attention. The two women who serve do it reluctantly, they don't do you minimal favors like cutting a quesadilla, and they respond in a very bad way.
Good food but bad experience

Horrible customer service, a dominican lady who helped me gave a lot of attitude and refused to help. Highly recommend you stay away from this place, the service is absolutely awful.

The food was good but the young woman working there was so rude! She refused to cut my quesadilla in half because she is “not allowed to”. Any other Dos Toros is better than this one!

Terrible service, I ordered a quesadilla and seeing that there are NO knives available (where they should provide, since it is a restaurant) I asked the staff if they could lend me a knife and they said no, then I asked for the quesadilla cut in 3 Pieces at least, and the preparer and the cashier refused saying they can't do that either. They really leave a lot to be desired.

I used to tell anyone and everyone to go here. Their quality and service has dropped significantly. The tortilla chips were soft and stale. They couldn’t get my order right and had to remake a 3 item quesadilla. The serving sizes have been shrinking. It’s really just not the same.

A Mexican fast casual option with 10x more flavorful than Chipotle. Don’t be fooled by the bowls, portions size are actually better ratio than the competitor. Not just filled with rice and little meet.

Give it a chance if you haven’t. Great service too!

The burrito is tasty, with a cool array of optional ingredients, and its several dollars cheaper than the same thing you would get at Chipotle (in my case, a vegan burrito with guacamole). Also, the space is cleaner than Chipotle. And they have some cool options for vegans, like impossible meat and sweet potato, and offering farro as a grain is inspired. I gave it four stars rather than five because the owners have clearly chosen to play this annoying game in order to not offer bathrooms to customers by intentionally having below 20 seats so that they don’t have to do that (I counted 18 seats). I want to be a loyal customer of this place but if I need to go to the bathroom, they tell me to go to Trader Joe’s. Is it really so much to expect a restaurant to provide a bathroom for customers?

Wonderful staff, clean restaurant, very good service. I've been ordering for myself as well as large catering orders for my office and work events for a while and have always been impressed with their consistent accuracy and quality. Always a crowd favorite! I'd highly recommend!

I had the Pollo Asado Bowl it had delicious flavors and cooked very well, customer service was friendly, fast and efficient, store was clean and maintained very well overall 10/10 experience would highly recommend:)

Don’t know how they survived near chipotle. Worse service, colder food, less portion but slightly more expensive

Fast food Mexican - inexpensive and a bit difficult to understand how to order what exactly.
Ultimately, however, you end up with a simple and usually quite spicy dish.
Highly recommended for in between meals or as an inexpensive dinner.

Went back to Flatiron Dos Toros to give it another try, but same result. $14 bowl barely makes it half way. Half spoon of rice, half spoon chicken, literally seems like they are giving away food from their own bowl. Walked out of there still hungry.

I do like the food they make, it's tasty and good quality, but the service and people at the counter are not worth the trip.
