Donut Shop Doughnuttery reviews
21I may have just not tried the best flavors because the donuts didn't amaze me at all. The cardamom spice one wasn't tasty imo, and the spicy one whose exact name I forget was just ok. I'm going to try different flavors next time and reevaluate.
Ok so the ppl who work there have good customer service.but the donuts are OVERRATED! They are mini donuts just covered in sugar that has a sophisticated name. It all tastes like sugar tho. Not worth it. Like don’t go here if you are broke.cause you wanna spend that shmoney on something special
Doughnuts are tasty if small. Would be 4 stars if it wasn't for the terrible customer service.
I placed an order of 6 plus a sauce, with 3 flavors of sugar (all outlined specifically as being fine on the website) through their website for pickup. When I arrived they hand me two bags, each containing 3 donughts. I asked the lady who served me what happened to the third flavor, and she advised me that you only get two flavors and that I must have misread.
Now, here's the issue with that - if there was an issue with the order wouldn't it make sense to advise the customer of that and let them make alterations to the order if they so choose? And why in the world does your website allow people to make orders that you will straight up refuse to fill?
I ate the donughts, which were fine but of course the one flavor they didn't give me was the one I was most Interested in trying, so thanks for that. They also didn't give me the sauce that I paid for.
After eating the food, I checked the website again, and of course my recollection was correct, it does specify 3 flavors.
Dont gaslight your customers, and train your employees. I certainly won't be going here again.
I give this place three stars because it is quality product but not reliable in service. I would absolutely recommend trying their donuts. My favorite is Paris Time and Flower Power but their glazed with sprinkles and powdered donuts are pretty good too as they will melt in your mouth. It's everything you could want in a donut; crispy outside, soft inside and overall sweet with many different flavors and options to try. And during COVID-19 times, the fact that different flavors will come individually bagged, makes it even better for sharing. If you are planning to bring these donuts in for an office meeting or for a personal event, DO go to pick it up in person, so that you can ensure that your order is correct and that you have it in time for your event. DON'T order last minute; leave plenty of time between when you ordered it and when you need it and you should be okay. Also, keep in mind that these are VERY SMALL. You can finish one donut with one bite. Think Entenmanns Pop'ems small. For a group of five peckish ladies, I ordered the box of 25. Absolutely devoured within minutes. Possibly pair it with coffee/tea to leave everyone satisfied. If they don't like sweets, avoid the sugar covered donuts and opt for the glazed, powdered or plain ones. They will look more appetizing to people who don't like too many sweets over a box full of sugar covered donuts.
Updated: Four stars; I tried them out again and it worked out pretty well. Everyone was happy and the order came out correct, good job guys! If that experience stays consistent, I will update to five.
Such good doughnuts six is not enough.they are on the tiny side and have many different flavors. Just watching the process of them being made is a nice experience within itself.
Nice little spot. I'm not a huge doughnut fan but I do like these. They are unique, light, and good flavor. I tried the PB and J flavor. If I'm in the area again I would make the trip again.
Got there near five, it wasn't very busy.the staff was friendly and sociable.it has an awesome atmosphere.like a restaurant in washington i liked.
Stopped by to pick up some doughnuts and the doughnuts tasted good, however the word ‘mini doughnut’ does not adequately describe the size.
I would consider these ‘micro’ doughnuts. The size of the doughnut is way too small. They are basically one bite per doughnut.
Aside from the small size, they tasted quite good and the staff is very friendly.
I was excited to try these donuts out, but honestly I'm not impressed. They're expensive for no reason. Super tiny and all you get is a bunch of sugar in your mouth. I love trying new donuts and these are just not itttt. Save your cash and your calories!
I really loved this place. Looking forward to coming back with my coworkers. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I loved.
The donuts were the size of a quarter and they literally all tasted the same. I got 6 donuts (3 different flavors) and at the bottom of each unlabeled bag there was about 2 tablespoons of sugar.
So I've had mini donuts before and these are microscopic compared to the other bakeries! I can't believe I paid $12 for a dozen of these onion ring looking things. However they do taste lovely. Not worth it.
Awesome donuts, texture and sweetness are just right. I actually prefer these over normal donuts now, also love the rotating flavor selection. Current fave is the ube
Jokes apart, this place is amazing. Super easy parking and a great menu that has something for every diet. 5 stars, no question.
Donuts like this should be illegal, they're godly. There's so many flavors to try plus the seasonal ones AND the sauces you can try with them. In my opinion, the sauces aren't even needed because they're really good. A bit on the pricier side but so worth it.
This place has a really good variety. They have the usual classics, bagels and some "social media pic" worthy choices. I ordered 3! I got the blueberry glaze topped with cinnamon toast crunch, chocolate covered cinnamon bun and blueberry cream cheese stuffed cronut.yes, I said cronut. Obviously, I like blueberry and cinnamon.
I don't know if I would give it $. More like $$. One of the donuts we got was $4! But this place is definitely a must see. Between the two of us we ordered 8 donuts.and they did not disappoint. We got the unicorn, the matcha ones, the Reese's peanut butter one, the Golden Grahams, a horchata One, a rose one and a savory jalapeño one. This is a must visit when in NY.
This place is so cute. I love it so much, the donuts are always so delicious & such unique flavors! The employees are sweet and it's always great attitude esp for being open 24/7! 10/10 I need to go back already!
I wanted to get the chocolate one and then he gave the sprinkle one which I was not crazy about, too sweet for me. Next time am checking what I buy
Small hidden gem! I am used to the larger donuts that you can customize, these were still good but they were a bit expensive for the size. Still a good fresh buy though!
