Dr. Casilda M. Balmaceda, New York NY

Dr. Balmaceda is an excellent Neurologist and a beutiful human being. She has all you may want in a physician; she is not only very knowlageable but she is compasionate. She truly cares for the patients and the community. Waiting time can be long but it is all worth it. I have been her patient for over 3 years and recently she took care of my father and my husband as well. She takes time to listen and adresses all your complaints. Thank you doctor for being there for us!

Best Neurologist Ever, Love Dr. Balmaceda such a sweet heart and always makes sure i get what i need, i have been under her care for my epilepsy for 5 years and i have improved so much. May God keep blessing her.

The wait is horrendous. We were waiting for hours to see her and when we finally got in we were shot. My husband has been suffering from severe headaches and anxiety and had no strength for life. In 30 seconds, she diagnosed him and sent him for a spinal tap when no other neurologists would. He is undergoing surgery tomorrow to put a shunt in and almost back to enjoying life.

Dr Balmaceda is an excellent doctor! She is knowledgeable, thourough and compassionate. Her staff is difficult to deal with and wait times are horrendously long.

Terrible service, cancelled appointments at the last minute, on hold for 10 minutes, rude receptionist, voicemail is full, never pick up the phone.

The worst place I have ever been to. I am currently waiting to see the doctor. I have been waiting for 5 hours so far! My pcp told me it would be a wait and I expected to be here for 3 hours especially because I am a first time patient but not 6 going on 7 hours. I have literally only seen 2 people go in. This is absolutely absurd and ridiculous! If I could give zero stars I would! I will never come back here! The doctor didnt even come out her office to call the next patient, she had the patient before asking for the next person to go on.i find that very unprofessional.
UPDATE.i didnt even see the doctor waited for 7 and half hours and was never called.i was there after the doctor office closed.when i left there was 10 to 15 people still sitting there in the waiting room.i left very upset.

The office might be little dysfunctional but that has nothing to do with the service that the provider offer.after all, if patients or customers disposed their trash everywhere, that speaks very poorly of the patients, not the doctor.i brought my mother today to see Dr Balmaceda, and as a health care provider myself, I can related that this doctor is very knowleable and covers all the details and problems that arised.excellent service

HORRIBLE Customer Service. Highly unprofessional and rude staff. On top of that be careful when calling to make an appointment because they LITERALLY just hang up on you. You call them and they do not answer. Keep calling back only for them to answer with a quick "hello" then immediately hang up. Its like children playing games because they do not want to do their job. They do this intentionally as well because when confronted they did not deny it. This is highly absurd behavior from "professionals". The worst treatment I had in any office. I could understand if I came off as rude or hostile but there was none of that. If you are not going to do your job properly find another job. I do not recommend this office for anyone looking for real professionals.

Those 5 star ratings are clearly by their own people or paid lol this place is a complete joke and needs to get shut down. I cannot believe how this place works.

This place is horrible. It's seems to be some sort of drug dealing place. People waiting in line to get in and come out in 3 minutes. They do not sweep their sidewalks and leave nasty trash all over. Horrible service. That should be closed
