After doing extensive research on Google for a doctor that specialized in spinal surgery, I miraculously stumbled across a unique, gifted Orthopedic Specialist name of Dr. Daveed Frazier. He’s an elite NY City Harvard-trained, board certified Orthopedic spine surgeon. Dr. Frazier has more than twenty-five years of expertise, whereas his credentials from prestigious schools were displayed at his office. Upon our first visit to Dr. Frazier’s office, I noticed he has been recognized by New York Times Magazine as a “New York Super Doctor” for five or more consecutive years.

Dr. Frazier’s honest, caring, and straight-forwardness throughout our consultation was very reassuring. Moreover, his unselfish consideration to my daughter Roshelle’s needs were remarkable. Our impressions of Dr. Frazier were that he’s an extremely humbled person with a calm mannered disposition, who became easy to talk to, when he consulted us about the treatment for my daughter’s health condition.

Dr. Frazier made the necessary corrections to my daughter’s cervical spinal cord from C2 to C7 because it was severely compressed and narrowed. The procedure he performed in August 2022 were Arthrodesis by anterior inter body, technique of the cervical region below C2, including disc space preparation, with technique of each additional interspace of the cervical region. Additional surgical techniques for my daughter consisted of discectomy, osteophytectomy, and decompression of the spinal cord and nerve roots.

After four hours of surgery, Dr. Frazier had restored Roshelle’s spinal cord to normal. Roshelle’s cervical spine is functioning remarkably well since the surgery, according to Dr. Frazier. Four months later her balance has been stabilized, and she’s gradually regaining strength in her arms and legs, comparatively close to where she was before her health condition became severe to the point of surgical intervention.
