Dr. Derek A. Lewis, DDS PC, New Rochelle NY

This doctor is very irresponsible, and charges indiscriminately, don't go!

I used to see Dr. Lewis in my back around 2003-2008. I was in my 20’s. He recommended a deep cleanings multiple times. One time after the deep cleaning, my front teeth were loose. He told me it was fine and don’t eat anything tough or hard to chew. After a few days my teeth were still loose. I went to see someone else and get a second opinion. They told me that I had the deep cleaning way too many times. I had to have procedure to hold my teeth in place, and it was expensive. I was only in my 20’s and healthy. I never went back.

I will not be returning to this office. After paying more than $1000.00 in services, I found out they never actually tried to bill my insurance. Dr. Lewis is a fine dentist. Gets the work done and he’s out the room but BEWARE of his office manager, Sheryl. She doesn’t truly care about you. She is dishonest and only cares about the money.

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Lewis for over 15 years. Dr. Lewis and his staff are very professional and caring. The office is state of the art. We like how easy it is to make an appointment. We always look forward to seeing him and his staff.
