This practice seems like it’s stuck in the 90’s…

Upon entering, no one said a word to me. According to the sign on the front desk, I had to sign in on a sign in sheet and grab my own “new patient” forms. After filling them out I was just told to bring them back with me. No one asked for my referral, a form of ID or my insurance card which I found odd. I waited 25 minutes before being called back into a room that was also stuck in the 90’s except very cold and unwelcoming. The nurse that brought me back did ask for my insurance card finally but nothing else. She also seemed as though she left her personality in her sock drawer. Bedside manner wasn’t great.

Another 20 minutes later, Dr. Danziger came in like a whirlwind. I will say, she was very friendly but really whizzed in and just like that, was out. I didn’t really have a chance to ask questions or fully explain what my issues were before she checked me and was on to the next patient. She didn’t even say ‘goodbye’ or ‘have a nice day’ she just sort of disappeared into the adjacent room. The nurse that finished up with me before I left was very nice and the most normal person in this facility.

If it wasn’t the only place that seemed to take my insurance, I would never go back. I understand Doctors are super busy but this just felt like a factory. Crank people in and out. Not exactly the feeling you want from someone that is there to take care of your health needs.

Dr Danzinger was incredible with my 3yo non speaking autistic daughter. She used sign to communicate with her and she really explained thing to me in a way I understood. She also agreed that a hearing test would be torture to her, and unnecessary. (Previous provider insisted on a hearing test over and over and I couldn’t see a benefit) thank you Dr Danzinger for understanding my kid and being so kind
