Dr. Jerome Giovinazzo, MD, Staten Island NY

Dr. Jerome Giovinazzo is a great eye doctor. He is easy to understand, patient with my questions and thorough with explanations. His staff are courteous, gentle and help to keep your wait time to a minimum. I highly recommend him and his practice. My cataract surgery was stress free, I was in good hands.

I cannot say enough good things about Doctors Vincent and Jerome Giovinazzo and the meticulous skill and care they gave me in treating my macular edema. Dr. Vincent discovered and analyzed the scarring. Dr. Jerome performed the incredible victrectomy surgery. Four weeks after, I have no grey cloud, sight is much better and I can read again. Thank you both and your staff SIUH for the excellent care.

I have known Dr Giovinazzo for a decade. He employs the latest technology and techniques for eye surgery and recommend him for anyone in the greater New York area.

Dr Jerome is a talented no nonsense pro. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish with eye surgery in his capable hands. I consider him & his dad Dr. Vincent a dynamic duo. You can not go wrong with them for retina issues, eye surgery, cataracts, simply the best!

Dr. Giovinazzo, was very considerate and was able to significantly comfort Frances. While going through a procedure, Dr. Giovinazzo offered to play classical music and did so from his personal phone.
Frances was so impressed by his compassion that she wanted to submit a review.
Additionally, there was an administrative issue that needed resolution. Conni and another staff member, apologies for not recalling her name, went over and above to assist and resolve the issue for Frances.

Dr G does a thorough job checking the eyes. All the necessary tests are done and the technician is very proficient with performing the tests and the office staff are very nice.

Dr. Giovinazzo has helped me time and time again with all my eye problems from severe allergies to a simple but painful stye. Each time, he has taken my concerns seriously and is extremely patient. He takes the time to explain what is going on, the correct treatment, options and pros and cons of each and when I can expect things to start feeling better. I highly recommend Dr. Giovinazzo and will continue to go to him for all my eye care needs!
