Dr. Joan S. Haselkorn-Lomasky, MD, Rockville Centre NY

Needed new OB since my old one no longer takes my insurance. Office seems overwhelmed turned left instead of right out of exam room. Saw lots of speculum on counte. Looked like they needed to be cleaned. Dr's office looked like another train wreck. Looked like a place that was really backed up and overwhelmed. As a medical professional I will pass on this. Been a few months no results from papsmear. Staff seemed friendly. As far as the doctor we are not a match

Dr. Haselkorn has been my gynecologist for so many year's and she always spends time with you listening to your concerns. She is extremely knowledgeable and very professional. Highly recommended

If I could give Dr. Haselkorn more stars, I would! After filling out new patient paperwork, I was called in shortly after and attended to right away by the medical assistant who was a doll. All my concerns were addressed at the visit and Dr. Haselkorn’s bedside was exceptional. She explained everything to me and took her time putting me at ease after a bad experience at another office. I would recommend her to all my friends and family. I’m happy to say, I found a wonderful doctor that I’m comfortable and confident with.

The Dr herself is very nice -I’ve been a patient for approximately 10 years. However the wait time is extremely to long to wait. You can wait at least 30 minutes past you scheduled appointment time and that’s being generous.

I have been seeing Dr. Haselkorn for 6+ years now. She’s one of the best doctors I’ve had!

She always listens to my concerns and takes me seriously. Is always willing to check everything I ask her to check. She’s one of the few doctors I’ve encountered with any knowledge of how to treat HS!

She has also worked with me after I had Covid, and it turned my cycle and PCOS into a mess, to try different bc options to try and get back to normal.

My only complaint would be the wait times at her office. Other than that, I’ve always had good experiences with the doctor and staff.

Dr haselkorn completely dismissed my problem and told me nothing was wrong. Ended up having to go to a specialist. Completely incompetent and beyond rude.

Scheduled an 8: 15 pm appointment for convenience after work. They had no record of my appointment despite the fact that I called a week in advance and I proceeded to wait over an hour to be seen. They even saw someone who got there after me before they would see me. Worst office management ever.

I had such an awful experience with Dr. Haselkorn-she had me in tears in her office and in the parking lot while I was sobbing on the phone with a friend after her examination and her bedside manner. She told me that due to me "stopping my birth control" I caused more issues with my mild PCOS (which she and Dr. Kagan failed to diagnose years prior) and said that "she could only imagine how challenging it will be for me to have children some day because of this. " 0 empathy and 0 bedside manner. She practically left me laying there and wrote me a script for a sonogram. My PCOS was not as terrible as she made it to be and my cysts were not as "horrible" as she stated they were with her outdated equipment. I am now almost 8 months pregnant with a baby girl and conceived entirely naturally. I would recommend seeing Dr. Tomlinson, Dr. Baggott and Dr. Polak just down the road-such a wonderful group of doctors compared to Haselkorn-I would not recommend her to anyone even if they were desperate.

I only had two visits here before finding a new doctor. Consistently a 45+ min wait past your appointment time. It’s obvious she triple books herself. Dr. Haselkorn NEVER knocks before entering your room. At my first check-in, the woman at the front desk asked me if I was planning on keeping my baby. I found this to be highly inappropriate as we were in a public space and she wasn’t my Doctor! Save yourself the disrespect and embarrassment.
