Dr. Mayya Munarova, MD, Queens NY

Dr. Munarova is a top-notch gynecologist. She diagnosed and treated a condition I had which nobody else had even noticed or suggested might need dealing with. She is gentle and efficient and, most importantly, pays full attention to the patient. How rare a quality that is!

I found staff to be very nice actually, they are friendly and have good bed side manners. I gave birth under her office but I had PA Bridgit taking care of me since she was on call. And she was excellent and sufficient. Dr Maya didn’t get to deliver my baby so I can’t say much but overall she was very nice and polite throughout my pregnancy and I would go back.

If it wasn’t for the distance from my home I wouldn’t have changed my doctor. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The doctor is patient and knowledgeable.

I know this doctor for over 8 years. She delivered my baby and I was a high risk pregnancy. You don’t wait long to be seen. She was always available and very attentive. I strongly recommend her. She is also now my mom gyn.

I’m very satisfied with the work of Dr. Munarova’s office. She had my first baby delivered and everything went well. Some people complain about her being not very “talking and explaining every detail”, but I have never had that issue, I do realize people don’t read mind and have no problem of asking anything I want to know: she would always take her time to explain. Thank you, Dr. Munarova.

Dr. Munarova herself is very kind and wonderful, but the office staff will put you on hold and then hang up on you. That has occurred for me several times this week. They need to train the office staff on how to answer the phone properly and with manners.

Dr. Munarova is the best! She delivered my kids and I can’t ask for a better doctor. She’s truly amazing and so is her staff.

Honestly i been to this doctor she has experience only with c-section maybe more money from Insurance I’m not sure but 80% all her Patient with c-section

We have been with this doctor for about 4 years and we are so happy we were told about her. Very professional, very kind, she knows what she is doing. We always have answered all our questions during the pregnancy when we had it, she explaines you everything so you really understand what is going on. On the top of everything when I had my baby I stayed in the hospital for 3 days, she was visiting me every single day asking how I was doing and my baby. I did not see any doctor to go see their patients after they gave birth. We would highly recommend dr. Mayya to anybody who is looking for a good doctor.

I went three times because I was bleeding too heavy and the three time the I went I saw 3 different doctors and the prescribe like a crazy medicine I think they don’t what they are doing is mi life I don’t recommend to anybody goes to this location they is pending how much I have to paid. If everything happens I know what I will be do

Dr Munarova delivered my son 4 months ago, she was absolutely amazing and her staff as well. I will be coming back to her. She is the sweetest and I can’t thank her enough for bringing In my beautiful baby boy into this world!

Dr. Munarova is a great obgyn doctor and is always concerned about her patients and does the best for them. To keep every baby alive, she wakes up in the middle of the night to introduce and new human being to our world and we should all be thankful for that. She saves and gives many lives, and she does it with care. Now lets hear it for doctor Munarova who would never leave any mother on her own and delivers thousands of lives to our world. And from now on, lets think twice about posting nasty comments about other people just to get publicity. If you have something bad to say, please dont say it at all because DR. Munarova tries her best on everything, whether you notice it or not. Would you be able to get up in the middle of the night almost every night AND also work 10 hours a day during the day (and dont forget about house work) ? Dr. Munarova is caring, supportive, and lets all never forget that she is the definition of a hero.

While I like the doctor herself, I don’t feel comfortable with some of her staff.
She previously had an ultrasound tech on staff who was wonderful. She was either Spanish or African American, tall and slender- she is no longer there. I believe she maybe on maternity leave. The second ultrasound tech makes me uncomfortable. While doing my scan I asked her if I had a cyst and she told me I didn’t have one. A few days later in the emergency room I found out I did have one. The reason I had asked was because I had a history of them and pain. I’m not sure why she didn’t see it, but it was seen in the emergency room. That made me feel uneasy. Also at the front desk were two girls. One Hispanic girl with curly hair and one white girl with long brown hair who I haven’t seen in a while. Those two were the best and the most competent. The rest of the girls seem confused. They constantly give appointments when the doctor isn’t on staff. They don’t call to reschedule. As for the assistants in the room one of them had absolutely no idea what she was talking about. She told me a panorama could be done at 7 weeks. It cannot be done that early. She told me that my nuchal could be done at 9 weeks. That is also wrong. She constantly gives out the wrong information.

Every time you come they want your money and every worker there is not on the same page. When you come there’s always a different story of something. Not going to just throw your hard working money out there every time you come for a visit. My girlfriend is pregnant and they refused to see her after they couldn’t find the recipe to all payments. I Would never recommend this place to nobody.

I rarely leave reviews, but this one I have to. Dr. Mayya’s clinic failed to diagnose an ectopic pregnancy, which ruptured and could have killed me. After emergency operation at another hospital by another doctor, she had her assistant called to ask suggestive questions to put the blame on me, like why you didn’t come back for follow up appointment? Come on! I was there two weeks ago when I was tested positive for pregnancy. She didn’t even SEE me! It was her PA or someone else, who told me to come back in two weeks. I made the appointment on the spot for two weeks later! No one ever contacted me after and I collapsed on the day of that appointment. Her girl also asked me why I rescheduled. Hello! I was in the emergency room and I called your office right away on that day! I never rescheduled anything. She asked nothing about my health, nothing about if I still feel any pain, no advise on what I can do to recover better. It sounds to me that they only care about their assets. I was her patient and I could have DIED! Be aware! Use your own judgment! She kept saying that I should call her if I felt pain anytime. I did try, but her office answer machine said it is outside of office hours, so I couldn’t reach anyone. Maybe she is good when you are lucky to have a smooth and heathy pregnancy, but when things aren’t smooth, and when you needed her the most, GOOD LUCK!
