Dr Wei was amazing from start to finish. I did a lot of research before deciding who to go with as there are so many not great dentists out there doing veneers, and I wanted to make sure that ny smile was perfect. It really is an art to manage the looks (making it natural, the right shade, the translucency, the fit to your current teeth, the length etc) and the functionality (bite, strength etc) and he did not finish until he knew it was perfect. I finished adding my final ones last week, so still need to wait a bit for photos until the gum has fully healed and settled, but they look amazing and my friends are now wanting to get them done once they saw mine. It's so worth investing in the right dentist, and I knew with Dr. Wei I got the best results, while not paying for extensive marketing or flashiness that many dentists use - you pay for excellence and expertise. Will recommend to ANYONE interested in getting their veneers done!

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Wei for cosmetic dentistry. I had a complicated case; I was missing a lateral incisor, had several gaps in my teeth, and the midline of my smile was off center. I’m so happy I trusted Dr. Wei to do my veneers. My new smile looks beautiful and natural. Dr. Wei and his staff were kind, professional, and accommodating to my hectic schedule. They made sure I was comfortable at every visit and that I was happy with the end result. I fell in my Apt and ended up with four cracked and chipped teeth. I spent the the night on Google searching for a Cosmetic Dentist when I came across Michael J. Wei’s site. I thought I was seeing double when I saw hundreds of 5 star reviews. I had to check if he was on social media and there he was with over 200K followers on IG. I was impressed!

I always trust my gut and I knew for sure Dr. Wei was my guy. I couldn’t wait to meet him. First thing the next day I called the office and booked a consult for that day. I met the staff and they were wonderful. Five minutes later Dr. Wei came in and I immediately felt safe. He was empathetic, warm, sincere, funny, creative, real and professional. He took one look at my teeth and told me he would make me temporaries and temporaries he made me. I was shocked……I have had temps many times in the life, but never did that dentist make them! His Nurse told me a lot of his patients don’t come in because they think their temps are permanent. They are that good! When I left after many hours I received a call from him. He was checking to make sure I was ok. He is amazing.

I was so excited to go back in a few weeks to get my new teeth and see Dr Wei. I think he was as excited as I was. He didn’t want me to see until he finished. He talked to me every step of the way. He was most excited that he matched the veneers to my other teeth. When he was finally finished he handed me a mirror and I was shocked. The veneers were more beautiful than I imagined. Not only did he match the teeth, he enhanced my smile and that took at least ten years off. Dr. Wei is the “real” deal. He does beautiful work, he’s dedicated, he’s a perfectionist, incredibly kind, genuine, impeccable and the nicest and the most generous guy.

Future interviewees beware. I read the reviews to this business before I showed up & I didn't think there was anything wrong about how the doctor chose to interact with me at first because he seemed reputable. However, I feel I must speak out because the interview felt like a complete waste of time & traveling fare. I believe it was a hidden power play & I'm quite disappointed in the unprofessional interviewing skills.

I was invited to an interview for a front desk position. The first red flag was that the doctor called my cell number from his personal cell number & not the office number. Also, he didn't leave a message. I had to text to see who it was. I thought that was very strange because normally employers on Indeed message you from the app or website for an interview. The second red flag was that he asked a woman to interview her at his office on his day off with out any other personnel in the office. The staff members should definitely meet with the interviewee as well so they can decide if she is a good fit for the office & gets along with everyone. The third red flag was there wasn't any security at the front desk when I arrived after I was buzzed in from downstairs. The fourth red flag was when I arrived on the 20th floor, the hallway lights were off. It was creepy. I knocked on the door to the office & heard movement but I wasn't buzzed in. Then, I knocked again & he buzzes me in. He didn't introduce himself in a professional manner when he saw me. He just stared. The fifth red flag was that he began to interrogate me in the waiting room area in a very sarcastic and menacing tone of voice. It seemed like he already made it up in his mind not to hire me before I even arrived. The 6th red flag was that he wanted me to rate him on how old he looked. I was uncomfortable. Also, he tried to catch me up in nonexistent lies. It was psychological warfare. It seemed like a sick, twisted mind game. I felt very uncomfortable. His facial expressions & tone of voice was extremely unprofessional & unpleasant. He says he would call me for a working interview if he chose me but I would not work for him.

I have been a patient of Dr Michael Wei for many years. He is an amazing dentist: Very knowledgeable, understanding and competent. If you are looking for a smile make-over (i.e. Veneers), you MUST see Dr. Wei - he will change your life! Overall, there is no/very little waiting time at his office whenever you have an appointment. His staff is very friendly and accommodating. It is great to finally have found a dentist that absolutely exceeded my high expectations. Top choice!

I had fractured one of my 2 front veneers (11 year old veneers from Boston) after I accidentally bit on an eggplant beef rice dish (there was a small piece of bone in there somehow). Freaked me out since it occurred on a Sunday afternoon and my veneer literally was falling off my tooth. My dentist was not opened and luckily I had Dr. Wei’s info (I had asked my dentist who was a good veneer dentist in NYC for a friend of mine and in case I needed to fix my veneers). I did the free online consultation and sent my info over. Comes Monday, I called my dentist to let him know what happened and he didn’t even call me back (ughh). Dr. Wei’s office called me and told me I can get in on Weds. I asked what am I supposed to do with the fractured veneer, and Dr. Wei called me back and was able to get my in that day (Monday). He fixed my veneer temporarily by bonding it. We discuss the options of redoing 2 front or 10 front veneers. I thought my smile was pretty good, but he said it can be better and whiter if we did 10! That sold me to get the 10 since if I did 2, it will last another 10-15 years before will need to redo the veneers. So might as well enjoy a new smile now while I am youngish. I told my dentist friend and she thought I was crazy and told me I would get chiclets for teeth. I told Dr. Wei this and he went above and beyond for me by making me a mock up. I loved it, so felt comfortable to proceed. He also would call me after the visits to make sure I was ok and if I had any questions (my old dentist never did that). So I got all 10 done…looks so great. Thought my original smile was good already, but my smile is great now! Love, love, love. No chiclets here! Very natural and I am so happy with it. Top photos are the original…and the bottom is my new smile. I am no longer going to see my old dentist…how rude for not calling me back when I was under distress. Dr. Wei is my new dentist. If you want veneers, Dr. Wei is the go-to dentist. You can’t just go to a regular dentist. They are not all equal.

I had a complicated situation with one of my implants due to the previous doctors’ incompetency. Thank you Dr Wei you truly are the best cosmetic dentist in NY if not the universe:) it has been a long dental journey for me but I’m so glad I found you. This time I was doing another implants during my second pregnancy. I had no choice but remove a few teeth and place implants during the second trimester. Doing a major dental work while having a baby is a different kind of fun.but Dr Wei made it so easy! He is really an artist and knows his stuff. After long 8 months of no teeth I finally got my gorgeous pearl crowns in yesterday and can’t stop smiling:) the color the shape, everything is just perfect! I highly recommend Dr Wei to anyone who has been dreaming of a perfect smile! I was looking for a cosmetic dentist, and Dr. Wei was recommended to me. I'm so happy I found this place! Dr. Wei's work is beautiful, and he's so warm and fun to talk to. He really listened to my concerns, and explained my options pretty thoroughly. You can sense that he really cares about the work he does. As for the office, the vibe is so friendly, the staff is super kind, and the location is great. And the cost was affordable. You really can't mess around when it comes to getting work done on your teeth, and I'm SO glad I went with Dr. Wei. This place really takes the stress out of the whole experience.

I am so glad that I found Dr. Wei to get done for veneers! Personally, I take every change on my outlook very serious and I was always looking for a cosmetic dentist who really understands my needs and really care about patient to put the efforts on the aesthetics. I cannot recommend Dr Wei enough! Almost 10 years ago I visited his practice searching for a miracle; I had a huge open bite, discolored crown.a huge mess! Dr Wei delivered me a beautiful smile, that I am so proud of. During the process, he was very patient, explained all the steps, making me feel very comfortable. Many years past, and my smile continues beautiful, until I had an accident and damaged my front teeth. I called Dr Wei on a Sunday, desperately, he was so king of calling me back and finding a time to see me on the first thing in the morning, fixing again my beautiful smile.
