Dr Tristan Lue, Kit & Kay are phenomenal! My partner and I have religiously went every 6 months for the last 5 years. I've had my retainer's made, fill-ins, and deep cleaning done all without any issues. The dentist office it self is super clean, there's hardly never a wait when in office the turn around is quick. As long as they continue to take my insurance I will forever be a patient.

I visited Dr Lues office and my experience was amazing. Their staff from the receiptionist to the hygenist are very friendly and they make you feel at home. I am usually afraid of dentist visits but Dr Lue knows how to calm me down and be gentle to the point now that I enjoy visiting the dentist. I live in NJ yet I still make the trip to the city to visit Dr Lue and his staff because it is worth the trip.

My husband and I have been patient's of Dr. Lue since not long after he opened his offices in the Herald Square area. I can recall that during my first visit, I informed Dr. Lue that I have PTSD from dental work that I received as a child. He informed me that if at any time i feel pain or discomfort to let him know and they will stop. Sure enough about 2 years ago, he was replacing filling that was old and had chipped and I informed him that I felt pain. He stopped the procedure and gave me more novocaine. He did not proceed until I was in a good place to continue. I have since done invisalign and am happy with the results.

Office Enviornment: The office is always impeccably clean and the staff friendly and responsive. They play good music-not that you can hear it when there is a drill whirring in your mouth:) but still nice to have when you are waiting. Oh and I have not yet experienced a long wait time in all my years going to Dr. Lue's office.

Office Staff:
Kay is always on top of things and upfront on any costs that are not covered BEFORE services are rendered.
All the hygenists that I have seen have been super friendly, gentle and thorough in the dental cleanings received.

This office is exceptional and I highly recommend.

One of the best dentists I’ve ever been to. I’m one of those guys who goes to the dentist every six months, without fail. I’ve had dentists in every City I’ve lived. I moved to Hoboken and I still go into NYC to see Dr. Lue. He’s thorough, staff is friendly and clean, and most of all, he’s honest. Looking for a dentist in NYC? Look no further.

This dental office is the best in NYC. I had a very bad toothache last week and a colleague told me to call Dr Lue. His staff quickly got me in that same day for an emergency visit and got me out of pain. Dr Lue and his staff explained the entire procedure to me and stayed after hours to complete my root canal. They made me feel so comfortable and my toothache was completely gone. I came back a week later and they completed my crown with their one day crown machine. I highly recommend this dental office:)

MAJOR INFECTION DUE TO BOTCHED ROOT CANAL

Dr. Tristan Lue performed a root canal on my molar #19 in June 2019. During the treatment, he missed a distal root and sealed up my tooth, causing bacteria to grow along my gum and soft tissue, causing an infection so major that I had to have my tooth extracted.

It is known that when a distal root is missed and not treated during a root canal, an infection will develop and spread. I had been treated by Dr. Lue six times over the past year. Each visit I complained of pain, inflammation and discomfort, and not once did Dr. Lue detect an infection. Finally, I got a second opinion. I learned that not only was the tooth Dr. Lue treated infected on the outside of my gum, it was infected all the way down to the bone and soft tissue in the root of the tooth. The tooth was beyond repair and could not be saved.

I had tried to resolve this issue with Dr. Tristan Lue and the Dental Arts of Orange County, but they have proven to be deceitful, lacking integrity by acting against me, rather than trying to help me mend the situation that they caused. They have failed to take proper care of my tooth and failed to take proper care of me as a patient.

I have scans and medical reports from two different specialists that prove Dr. Lue’s negligence and incompetence with the root canal procedure he had performed on my tooth.

Do yourself a favor and see another dentist.

For the longest time I’ve had a real fear of getting my teeth worked on. One bad experience tends to leave a lasting impression. So I was very nervous coming here. I let them know about all of this and they honestly couldn’t have been more nurturing. Dr Lue has a very gentle hand. Zero complaints. I will be recommending this office to any friend or colleague in need of getting work done. I can’t thank this office enough.
