Drag-In Automotive Repair & Service Corp., Lackawanna NY

Went to the shop to get my car inspected. They were able to also squeeze in my husband's truck in as well. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and easy to work with. I had a 2: 00 appointment and as soon as I got there they were ready for me waiting. Extremely. I didn't have a large interaction seeing it was only inspection sticker however I can tell already that this will be my new mechanic I've been looking for one for years. I don't mind getting work done I just want to be able to go to an honest reputable place and I get the feeling between the reviews and my own experience that this is the place to go. Our family will be a new customers going forward

Drag in is my main auto shop I go there for everything! Staff is great, always honest and all jobs i’ve needed done was always done within one day! Shout out to you guys! Highly recommend.

Have used Drag-In for few repairs and they are honest and up front with every thing. I have an Altima that was purchased as a used car a few years ago and after Drag-In did the tires and alignment, it has never driven better than it does now. The car has seen a few sets of tires and other alignments. Great job! I would highly recommend this repair shop. My experience here has been fantastic. Keep up the good work.

I have been to this shop a couple of times and they did a good job. This time I went there in middle of August when my car had a loud noise coming from the steering wheel. One of their mechanics looked at it and quickly said the car needs a rack n pinion. I trusted his judgment and left the car there on a Thursday evening just before they close. Next day when I picked up the car, it has a transmission problem, the odometer needle and mileage was not moving and steering wheel became as hard as if I was moving a rock. I paid more than $1100 on that Friday just to junk the car the next day and buy another. My instincts told me that if I went back there, firstly, they wouldn’t take responsibility because car had over 200,000 miles on it but since they are professional mechanics, they could possibly tell if it would be worthwhile to spend that money on rack n pinion and try to find out if there are parts that are failing but obviously they didn’t. They picked out all the things that may be wrong with car to pass safety inspection for the inspection sticker but this was in least of their interest to see if the transmission was bad. In short, the job was done in a hurry just to get the car out not making sure if the car will be drivable.
I’ll do my best not to give a bad review to a business and always give them benefit of the doubt but in some situations a customer must give low feedback so that they can learn from the mistakes. They are getting 4 stars when it could have been even lower

We have been to a few different repair shops, and after being at Drag In Auto, we will not be going anywhere else for repairs or service. They were very friendly and helpful. Explained everything in ways we understood. They were also very honest. Would recommend them to everyone!

We have been using Drag-In Auto for quite a few years. They have worked on two trucks and three cars for us. Once the vehicles are out of warranty we use them for any larger jobs. They are cheaper than the dealerships. Their waiting room is not large but is always clean and comfortable. As is the bathroom. And their customers must really like them because several times we have been in there, other customers have brought donuts, pizza or subs! First time I ever saw that!

I brought my 02 silverado 2500hd in for A/C service. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. I was kept in the loop through the entire repair. If you're in the South Buffalo / Lackawanna area I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Drag-In Automotive, and if you're not it would be well worth the drive!

Good, honest dudes at this shop. I've taken all our cars here multiple times, they do quality alignments in half the time and price than your big box tire shops. They don't bother you with upsells or things you do not need. As a new Buffalo resident I will continue taking all my vehicles here and refer my friends to do the same. Thanks Drag-In auto
