Jason is very knowledgeable and caring driving instructor towards you passing your road test for the first time. He has a very detail-orientated approach to teaching, and always goes above and beyond to ensure that his students receive an optimal learning experience.

Had a great experience at Drive Rite Academy. Highly recommend taking lessons with Avery Jones. Not only did I learn all of the technical aspects of driving but he also taught me the proper mindset for driving (especially in a busy place like Brooklyn). Avery is a true professional in the field of driving instruction and thanks to his guidance I was able to pass my driving test the first time.

Avery Jones is a terrific driving coach. He explains everything in great detail, provides real life scenarios that assists with the visualization of what you have learned, and helps you execute them fluidly. He has the innate ability to dissect initially complex actions into easily digestible directions. He's a teacher at heart, master at his craft, and he's constantly working on ways to perfect it. If you have the pleasure of learning from Avery then slogans like "driving is a science" and "always be curious" will be words of guidance that will help you succeed.

My experience with Drive Rite Academy was great. I purchased 4 lessons along with the 5 hour class and the car for the road test. I had 3 different instructors. Out of the 3 instructors, I would highly recommend Karlvin. I took my last two lessons with him and his calmness really made me feel confident! I asked him if he felt like I could pass my road test and he confidently said yes. Karlvin was right! I passed my road test on my first try! This driving school is very professional and they have great communication. I would definitely recommend them.

My Driving instructor is name Greg. He is an exceptional teacher. He is very patient and competent. I would recommend this Drive Rite to anyone who is seeking to pass their driving test and want good instructions.

Very helpful and a great service. Would recommend using David, who is knowledgeable and friendly, and helped me pass the NY road test on the first attempt, which was very useful as an expat having to convert my license.

Avery Jones is the best driving instructor, hands down! I've taken classes from a number of driving instructors over the years and Avery is heads and shoulders above the rest. In the first ten minutes of class he gave an overview of how to get comfortable in the driver's seat, which no other instructor had gone over with me before (who knew you could adjust the height of the seat -and- the seat belt? Not me.) It's very clear from the start that he's incredibly knowledgable and puts you at ease right away. Would recommend to anyone that's looking to learn how to drive or regain confidence in driving. Thanks Avery!

I had a wonderful experience with Drive Rite Academy (Flatbush), and was able to pass my road test on the first try! My lessons were with Greg, Nate, and Isaiah. Greg helped build my confidence as a new driver. He made me feel at ease and prepared, and was gentle and encouraging whenever I started feeling anxious. Nate was truly a teacher - he made everything so clear and broke down the steps in a way that really made sense to me. And Isaiah was also very kind and patient. The Beginner Package I selected gave me plenty of lesson time, and I was really impressed at how responsive Drive Rite was to my email, phone, and chat inquiries. I had an overall extremely positive and professional experience with Drive Rite, and happily recommend them to other adult students.

Absoutely amazing. My instructor Nate makes me feel very confident and secure when I am driving. He pushes me pass my anxiety and allow me to move at my pace. So far things are going great. Thank you Nate!

TL;DR - Highly recommend! If you're new to driving, Joseph B is a great and reliable instructor.

I have Drive Rite (specifically Joseph B!) to thank for helping me overcome my fear of the road. I had several driving permits during over the years, never seeking out a driving school, yet I absolutely terrified of or uninterested of being in front of the wheel. Now, I can happily say my nerves are at a healthy level.

I practiced at the Queens location, using my the 8 sessions during this winter and spring, and passed my driving test in one go. My instructor, Joe, was so kind, patient, attentive, enjoyable to drive with, and always punctual. I would recommend him in a heartbeat, especially to nervous new drivers like me.

The only issues I had were with documentation/scheduling at the office and for the road test, but the Drive Rite associates were very easy to get in touch with and willing to work out any problems that arose. So, I still stand by the 5 stars.
