DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, Staten Island NY

After being on line for 30 minutes, coupon was not honored. Cashier explain to do a pick up order which I did while being on checkout. She then told me come back in two hours. This is after I pulled the items myself essentially doing the job for them. They then called the assistant manager which she then apologized because she has only been their a week and was in the process of retraining her staff. I leave and call the store 3 hours later only to be left on hold. I reach out to customer service and he explains that 2 hour pick up time only applies to Monday to Friday. Employees don’t do pick up on the weekends! When I asked where is this information printed so consumers could be aware I am disconnected. Then 30 minutes later the order is completed. Like really this is how you treat your customers. Do better DSW

First time going here recommended by the foot locker sales kid, as we have a wide feet hard to find wide shoes so came here I was wowed by so many great brand selections.

The Manager is not friendly or maybe just tired but regardless no “Thank you” whatsoever smh.

The cashier girl who assisted me is so friendly but seems to be afraid to talk to her manager because she was hesitant of calling him when it’s nearly closing and she needs assistance since she doesn’t know how to punch in certain things in the register.

I hope the manager will be more friendly and accommodating towards the staff so they can do their job better.

Sorry but It doesn’t feel good to go in when you don’t see a welcoming staff/manager.

Other than that, they have wide variety selection of shoes and etc…
But I’d hope they have more wide shoes for kids.

I went in there to find out if an email I was sent was out of date or not it was sent to me yesterday but apparently it expired in July. That's fine but the girl was not nice and she raised her eyes like I was annoying her. I found a pair of shoes and there was a sign on there saying it was 20% off tried them on and they fit and Then I was waiting on the line. There was seven people in line and only one person at the counter. The woman that wasn't very nice. They must have been at least a half a dozen or more people roaming around. So when I finally got there to pay for my stuff she tells me that there was no sale and it's showing up as the regular price. I walk around I asked the guy for a manager or supervisor and he asked me what I wanted and I told him about the sign of 20% off. He said oh that happens all the time they don't take the sign off I said yeah but if that be the case that's your whole not mine and I should get the 20% off and he said we don't do that.

Now I have been buying from DSW for many years my daughter as well and this is the first time I have had such treatment. I don't like your people that works in that dsw. This was on Staten Island on Richmond avenue near the mall.

First time shopping in this store. I browsed for sandals, they had a large selection but not many sizes left as it’s August. Found a pair in my size, it was the only pair in a plain non labelled box with no top. There was no price info on it, so I thought I would save the cashier (and myself) some time by putting the shoes in a labelled box.

When I got to the register there were 5 people ahead of me, the line was SUPER slow and I waited over 30 min to get to the cashier. My cashier Amnit (sp?) asked if I was a rewards member and I said no and she proceeded to ask me 3 more times if I wanted to join, even though I told her firmly each time that I wasn’t interested.

Then she asked me what size the shoes were and that they weren’t in the right box, so I told her I put the shoes in a labelled box so she didn’t have to search for the info. She said of course that other box had info and basically acted like I was a liar for trying to do her a favor. Then she took the shoes out of the brand box and put them in a plain enormous brown box with no lid. I asked if I could have my original box because I like to keep my shoes organized, but nope, that wasn’t an option. After spending almost $100, you would think you could at least have your brand box. ‍️ The whole experience was one big absurd drama about ‘a box’. I can find all of these shoe brands online, with no drama, so I definitely won’t be shopping here again.

I wish I can give NO stars.
4 people on line ahead of me, now 9 behind me. 1 girl working on reg. 1 employee doing stock at counter, the manager standing at counter having a full conversation with another employee. NOT once did the manger step in a help move your customers along faster. Apparently none of us have anything else to do. This is managerial skill 101. This is horrible customer service at its finest. You should be embarrassed of how unprofessional this store is managed as well as maintained.

Two cashiers and a long line. One just walks away while the other is dealing with customer issue on the phone for 10 min. Unacceptable!

Good store. Wide selection of shoes. But the goods are scattered and it is unrealistic to find the right product.

My fiance needed work shoes and this place was on the list. When she first went in there, she said " I'm in sneaker heaven. "
At best they had a lot to offer. She purchased 3 shoes for sole purpose of the price only to find out after it was more than she thought they were. So we returned the shoes. I believe a nice cashier named Sandra helped me.
If you plan on returning something here you need your receipt and credit card.
Basically we're gonna search else where for work shoes. Sketchers is the best hands down. It was just a little pricey for my taste. Even though they had a large variety of shoes which is good if that's what your looking for.

Very limited shoe selection for men. 80% of the store is geared towards women. The few sneakers you can find for men only have a few sizes in stock. In terms of discount, there are just 2 aisles for men discount shoes and a super limited selection. Just avoid this store and do your shopping online.

Not too much choices in store, seems more styles online. Price is higher than the original band, I rather get it from their website.

Well I went to the store to pick up my order and I waited online for long time finally got my order and it was the wrong shoes and he told me that because I shipped it to the store that I had to do a rerun n re order meanwhile I did not pick ship to store the items were already in the store I had left the store they were already in the store and I did it within three hours so I had to walk myself around the store to find the shoes that I ordered and I went up to the counter not only did I have to wait again online but they were taking so long I just went up to them and said this is what I ordered you gave me a different shoe and the receipt that they printed out had the right order on it but they gave me the wrong shoes and they were giving me such a problem I will never go back

Advertised sale.didn't have stock. 50% off sales over for July 4th.stock appears the day after.store manager won't honor sale.whatever.no 1 where else to shop for shoes.hope they hire a manager to replace "Becca" who can make smart decisions.not cut a customer off without even listening.

I am too picky with shoes to have ever found anything here but my kids always shopped here.

Good selection of big names for all different occasions. My go-to spot for dress shoes. Prices are pretty good
