Worst pharmacy ever in NYC. Makes you wait and wait and wait without updates. Had to call doctor’s office to kick them in the behind to start moving and start working. Never one smile and everyone has an attitude.

Nasty and rude pharm tech… name starts with M.
Came in to pickup a prescription. He said “You got nothing” the MD send the medication 40mins ago, then i called the MD office to check if the RX was sent and they said it was sent. The guy didn’t bother to check further, another pharmtech assisted me and found the prescription. Told me 20-30 mins wait, which is okay, but don’t tell me i have nothing to pickup.

The worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. The wait time to call them is always at minimum 20 mins and when you finally get to speak with someone, they will ask you to wait even more then just drops the call. Everytime I pick-up my prescription here, it’s always a sh1t*show. I hope corporate knows how poorly this particular location is performing. Really terrible experience!

The worst pharmacy. They put you on hold for a 1/2 hour, always. I have never called and not been placed on hold immediately and then hung up on several times. It’s more of a convenient store than a medication pharmacy. Don’t waste your time.

The female pharmacists are so rude and bitter, probably overworked and could care less. The cashier at the pharmacy is also very rude all the while being so incompetent to solve any consumers' concerns. This pharmacy is racist! Look at all the comments about the female pharmacists being rude mainly to people of colors!

This place wins for being unprofessional. If there's a districts manger, this pharmacy needs to be restaffed with courteous employees!

I had to pickup a Fedex package today and it was supposed to be quick and easy.nope. The girl at the counter was the worst ever. She should be working in the back where she will never ever be allowed to interact with anyone. When i arrived at the store, there was noone on line. Gave her my info to look for the package, she crawls behind the curtain, moves some boxes around, comes back and says, no package by that name. I called Fedex, confirmed the package is ready for pickup at said location. Then, 10 customers are on line to buy things. I waited on the side and asked if she can call her manager to help. Then she has the nerve to tell me to get on the line! Ok, i did. Then with my luck, everyone wanted to use their coupons. Save $10 on purchases over $25. The lady had rung up $23.99.5 more minuted cuz the lady doesnt understand how the coupon works. Manager comes, helps with other customers while i count them down. This girl must've tried her best to avoid me and hoped her manager would serve me, nope. I'm back! Please look again for my package! Manager comes up to help, checks her device, confirms my package is on site, looks behind the curtain and finds me package! Now, i could have berated this low class employee, but i kept my cool. I just hope she understands that karma come back ten fold.

Just got off the phone and was told a bunch of outright lies about my insurance and prescription, they had no idea what they were talking about. Not being able to trust your pharmacy is awful. Time to move on.

This pharmacy is terrible, and the work ethics of the pharmacy personnel are bad. The personnel are not responsible.
The man said I wouldn't get my prescriptions until after 24 hours even though I told him that I needed this medication or I might end up in the ER. Shame on Walgreen / Duane Reade having no controls of the employees. Will not recommend and visit any Walgreen / Duane Reade ever again. Walgreen might forget there are lots of pharmacies (chain stores and independent stores) out there.
I would rather give it a negative star if possible.

Lie to the customs on the phone said that put them on hold because she (long-hair African women) was serving on site customer while there is not one on the line.

Updated: before I left the store, I saw she was shopping for her self when other custom was waiting for her.

This pharmacy is terrible! It has just been getting worse and worse. They never answer the phone (I was on hold for over 2 hrs) then was disconnected. I even called back and told the manager of the store who didn't care at all and never got connected.
There is only one excellent pharmacists there but he doesn't work every day.
They never keep medication in stock and you can never get your medication on the same day even if its an emergency and your doctor orders it early in the day and is needed that same day.
Just unexceptable the store needs a total overhaul!
