Australian Restaurant Dudley's reviews
16Service was slow and felt as though they did not want to serve me. My fried chicken sandwich was not cooked thoroughly either. I am super disappointed and do not recommend.
The service was a little slow but it's a great restaurant if you want to chill and not be rushed. Good food. Fries were hot and sooo crispy! Avocado toast was so good along with the ricca hotcakes! Loved it all! Definitely recommend!
This was our first time here and we took the wrong road and took over 40 minutes to walk here due to our unfamiliarity. We arrived nearly 3: 40 and the seats were empty, but we stood at the door waiting for decades with no response. We wanted pancakes but they said the kitchen just closed at 3: 45 and they only serve snakes. We had no idea what was so special about this restaurant, the next table ordered pancakes and everything seemed ordinary. They are just arrogant and indifferent about their pancakes!
I stopped here for a quick bite today. I was seated rather quickly and our server was very friendly and attentive. Its a clean, stylish old space that is remodeled and improved to kinda show of the bricks and wooden beams. So I chose the Bronte Burger, that sweet chili sauce gave it a unique but pleasant flavor! It came on ciabatta bread instead of a bun. It was a good sandwich.
Fourth time eating and I never leave disappointed, the ricotta hotcakes are always my go-to… so soft they melt into your mouth and the flavor is not overwhelming whatsoever. Make sure to try their crispy rice salad as well, v tasty and colorful. Nice to see some familiar faces <3
One of my fav places for brunches and having a nice cocktail when going out!
Australian based restaurant that gives you an Australian touch such as the broche burger. Wouldn't say it's completely Australian authentic restaurant, the fusions with other western foods are really done.
Broche Burger was superb. Meat was tender and flavorful.
Chicken Schnitzel was cooked to perfection.
The mashed corn was so smooth and yummy.
The hot pancakes were fluffy and the Nutella and honey was a nice added touch.
Dudley’s was a nice surprise! The food is excellent at a very good price point and the ambiance is casual and lively. The menu offers a lot of variety and the food came out quickly.
The only complaint is that after our server took our order, he completely disappeared. We had to waive him down to pay and he didn’t seem bothered by our discontent. Minus that particular server, everything else was great. Would definitely recommend!
Very nice place for lunch on LES. Cheeseburger with truffle fries was delicious. Friendly atmosphere and not crowded. Weekend prob a different story.
Good food and nice service here! Nice place to hang out for bunch. My clothing smelled a bit after eating here because of bad ventilation. The food was not that creative, but good quality and well made.
I was here for the first time for dinner. We had the best cheeseburger chicken sandwich, Caesar salad oh my God, the best fries, the best fried calamari in my server he was very friendly and give us a great service. Thank you, Mr. Albania.
Came here with friends after all the good things they had to say about it.
Truffle fries are a worthy mention, with their regular fries as well.
Had the shrimp linguine, I was too hungry to not eat it. My friend had to add extra salt and pepper to hers.
It was a bit underwhelming. My friends said this was unusual so I don’t mind giving it another try.
Don’t get Shrimp Linguine here it’s not their specialty.
HIGHLY recommend the Fried Chicken Sandwich (sub for the croissant). It was amazing and the fries were sublime. The service wasn’t the best, but the food made up for it.
Cool Australian Cafe and brunch spot. Delicious coffee, sandwiches and toaster. Could get really crowded during weekend, so go there earlier if you don't want to wait in line.
UNDERRATED PLACE! It’s priced much more reasonably. The waiters are also super friendly~ food wise, the avocado toast was not very seasoned (which is fine! Healthier) and the eggs Benedict was great! Will go back again. And would want to try out their happy hour the next time I go back
Everytime I come to NYC I go to Dudley‘s because the food is amazing and you really get a good portion for what you‘re paying and I love the location
Their ricotta pancakes are out of this world and they have an amazing matcha lemonade!
Visit 1: Spent some koala-ty time with @httpjoanna for this awesome brunch
Not exactly sure what makes @dudleysnyc an Australian restaurant exactly, but the food we had sure was good! We tried the avocado toast, crispy rice salad, and veggie pesto orecchiette. All were beautiful, bright, and healthy.
Visit 2: Not a dud
Whether it’s brunch or late night cocktails, @dudleysnyc has got it! They’ve got all day breakfast/lunch items plus an amazing list of drinks.
I had this puffed rice salad topped with an egg and chicken a while back while my friend had the Brontë burger - one of their most popular, basically famous dishes.
Visit 3: I stopped by my downstairs neighbor, we stopped for drinks and I tried the Chanel Orange with jalapeño tequila, passionfruit, and ginger the Orchard. My fried got yhe Broome (that’s their address if ya didn’t know!) with mezcal, orange, rose, and agave. Both were great but tbh we enjoyed each other’s more
