Dumpling + Noodle reviews
17I absolutely love this place the food is delicious and authentic. I am ready to try Everything on the menu and I have been here 4 times already. All that food you see plus I had to go order and it was only 63 dollars. My whole family can actually afford to eat out at this place and the food is way more than up to par and is hot and fresh!
This is a local Asian cuisine restaurant in Bronxville and we love ordering food from them because their dishes are made with fresh ingredients and great spices.
The Chef gives the food an added twist that makes what we might typically call run-of-the-meal dishes, quite special.
The staff is friendly and you can pick up the food yourself or order online and use Ubereats.
We do take out more than dine in because they are around the corner from home. I'll remember to take photos and upload them to this post, as an update, next time we order.
Super cute and cozy spot in Bronxville. Fast service, delicious food and affordable prices, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner. We will definitely be back.
Once again it's one of those places where anything you order is great so experiment and enjoy!
Love this place! The best noodles soup so far in westchester county NY. Place is cool, the town is very nice.
Amazing tasting food. Ive ordered about 8 different meals at this point & every single one has been extremely satisfying. Good portion for a filling meal at dinner. Enough for takeout & leftovers. Dining in has been exceptional & even at its peak operating hour servers are still attentive. The place is quite small & so is the staff but they are honest enough to let you know if certain courtesies are slower because the place is packed. Your local chinese spot doesnt come close to the quality here. My only complaint is this place isnt closer to me. No glaring issues have presented itself yet. Go try it!
We love this place. Whenever family visits from TN we take them here and enjoy the various dumplings and noodles. Deeeliscious!
I came here expecting a good meal. However I ended up leaving the restaurant horrified. When the food was brought out I notice the food lacked flavor and I was very underwhelmed with the meal. To my surprise there were multiple flies found when I almost finished my meal.
When I brought this disgusting matter to the manager she told me that “this happens and it’s fruit fly season”
I ran to the bathroom and threw up and left immediately.
I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a place with clean and good food.
I am traumatized.
This place stinks! Meh is probably the best description of this menu. Tries to touch a bunch of asian cuisine but does none of them well. The red curry was pretty gross, had at most five pieces of tofu. Dunno how they can charge $10 for a lackluster bowl of vegetables covered in some generic red curry. Plus I found a piece of plastic which probably came from the to go bowl in my dinner. I guess it's okay if you're a local but if you got legs or even a bike I'd recommend going somewhere else.
Dumpling+Noodle is a constant go-to place for us! Great food. They close a bit early.so watch those store hours! Love their SOUPS!
The food is great, if you like cheap Americanized Asian food because you haven't had good/authentic Asian food. It is mass produced for a quick turn around and to keep it "kind of" cheap.
I ordered the pork soup dumplings and they definitely tasted like frozen dumplings with very little "soup" filling. The dumpling itself was thick and chewy. I also ordered the miso Ramen and was so disappointed, that I couldn't even eat it. The broth tasted like a pre-made / powder mix and the noodles were thick, chewy and what I could only explain as "chalky". The noodles, meat and other ingredients felt like they had been pre-made and stored in the fridge until needed because they made a single block of food that was hard to separate even in the hot broth!
In fairness, I have tried this place several times, ordering different things each time, and am consistently disappointed by the lack of quality in the food. However, the service is always nice and efficient.
In summary, it's great for college students on a budget or for people who don't mind cheap, Americanized versions of Asian food. For those expecting quality food, this is not your place.
Soup dumplings were good but a bit starchy to the touch but with a generous amount of meat and a light broth inside. Scallion pancakes were a little overcooked, and required the sauce as they are lightly seasoned with scallions and taste a bit like naan. Crab rangoon were nice with a lot of artificial crab meat and a seasoned cream cheese. Bbq roast pork ramen was the focus of the meal; a delicious broth, thin and long eggy noodles, leeks, thinly sliced sweet roasted pork meat. Worth it to get the extra noodles. The Thai iced tea was alright. The curry puffs were delicious. Flakey, crunchy outside, and almost creamy filling. Spring rolls were good. The pork belly buns were good. The popcorn chicken was crunchy and garlicky.
I use to go to dumpling and Noodle for years and today I decided to have lunch there with my husband and I don't know what happened to the customer service but I am highly disappointed, we will never go there again, the water they gave us had a roach floating in it and when I told the lady she took the glass and did not apologize and tried to wash the glass out and give us the same glass, I requested bottle water instead. The sauce for the spring rolls was cold as if they just took it out the refrigerator. I have never experienced this kind of service in a restaurant especially in Bronxville. I am scared to see what else they have while they are preparing the food.
Great authentic food and great price. Thai noodles and Chai ice tea are my favorites. Dumplings are awesome. Have a feeling the prices won't stay low for long
This is a clean, nice looking place. The prices are more than fair. The food is good, and so is the service. The only downside is metered parking, but that's not their fault.
Location is small but nice, sitting for 20- 25. Food is delicious, loved the crab puffs and the Mango tea. We get different dishes and share, good way of tasting
The food was delicious. The menu is a little confusing as it doesn't have any descriptions of what certain things are, but the staff is pleasant and willing to help. I will definately be back.
