Still good 2023, Great the spicy beef now comes with a new. Vinegar dipping sauce been a while since I have visited this place but it's still good!

The main problem here is, the dumpling dough is far too thick. I had fried dumplings, which were expertly fried to a nice golden and crisp texture. But they were far too chewy. Please try to halve the thickness of your dumpling dough, and you might have the best dumplings on the planet.

The woman at the front was not pleasant in the least. No greeting of welcome. No warmth engagement, nor did she ask how she could be of help.
Even the customer standing behind me was shocked by the woman's poor service.
One would think that people like that would be grateful, eh?
I would hate to see the service she would give of a patron were rude and confrontational?
The food was fried to a very hard and distasteful consistency, beyond what would be the standard and delectable dish should taste like.
With businesses galore in the neighborhood, one would think that they would be appreciative of their patrons and keave a pleasant and positive impression upon them, especially from proprietors such as themselves.
She has lost a customer due to her poor and unacceptable behavior and below par standards.

Today I learned the hard way that there are two locations: Park Slope and Sunnyside. I went on the website for the Park Slope location and placed a $50 order, turns out it went to Sunnyside and neither restaurant is taking responsibility. They said that they are aware of this issue and that it happens a lot. I tried to arrange delivery for my order from Sunnyside but they would not change my order from pick up to delivery. If you’re in Sunnyside, feel free to enjoy my food, it’s already paid for.

It’s fair to say buying frozen dumplings on Weee and boiling at home can get you similar if not better dumplings

I've eaten at this very good hole in the wall for years but noticed in the last couple of years the dumplings have gotten very thick and "dough-y"; not so good as the old days.

Had the dumplings which were supposedly fried but were really tough and not at all well seasoned. Not sure about the rest of the menu but the dumplings were dissapointing.

Terrible. The bao and the noodles were tasteless. The beef was over done, mostly fat, and certainly not spicy. I threw 3/4 of my meal away.

Not bad for the price, but the dumpling dough is way too thick and there's not much flavor.

A friend and I shared the beef and kimchi dumplings and the hot chili wonton. The former were deep fried rather than pan fried (the proper way) and the filling was dry and flavorless — no real kimchi flavor or texture. The hot chili wontons were small and sad, with the filling being equally problematic and bottom-tier quality, and the chili sauce lacking spice. I would rate this place two instead of one stars as it is somewhat cheap for the area (but still not worth it at all) and merely “edible. ” Would definitely be a one star in Chinatown.

Fried dumplings D1 (chicken, shrimp cilantro) were superb, very tasty and full of texture. Edamame, however, was cold and bland, even though we began eating right away after picking up the order. Usually edamame is served hot, not at this place, hence 4 stars.

TL;DR Come for the baos, the rest isn’t great. Also they’re cash only, which is always annoying.

The room is quite small and dark, with only a few seats, so it’s mostly a to-go place.

We had the chicken steamed dumplings. The envelope was too thick (but still ok) and the filling was relatively bland.

We then had the pan-fried pork & chive dumplings. I expected the typical dumplings where only the bottom is fried, but here the entire dumpling was fried. The envelope was was too thick, almost like bread, and overall the dumpling was too fat.

Lastly, we had a duck bao. The vegetables were fresh, the sauce was flavorful, and there was enough of it. There was not a lot of duck, but it was still great.

Not impressed. Was in the mood for wonton soup and figured id give this place a try since i thought it would be better than you average chinese restuatant dumpling soup. I was wrong. The dumplings taste just the the standard chinese restaurant frozen mass produced ones. The soup would literally be hot water if it wasnt for the soy sauce they provide you with. Noodles super bland. Only reason they get 3 stars is bc of the thai broccoli they add as thats something i wouldnt get from a regular wonton soup. Sorry but ill stick to chinese restaurant for wonton soup (for half the price)

Thought the pan fried dumplings would be fire but got deep-fried garbage catered towards Americans.

I had a vegetarian dumplings and the beast brass bell. The dumplings were completely undercooked and the beef may have been braised but it looked like spam. In terms of taste it was so so. Service was ok. Food is 1 star, everting else is a 3, which is why I gave it a 2.

I ordered the chicken & shrimp dumplings with a garlic cucumber salad. It was tasty. So much so, I decided to have another order of dumplings! It's a very small place, but quality eats.

Very disappointing experience, the fried dumplings were incredibly hard and tough, and the pork belly was pathetic. There was just a tiny sliver of pork belly in the whole sandwich, and the rest was a mountain of overpowered vegetables.

I ate here because it was cheaper than other places, and good Chinese food is typically cheap, but I should've gone to a different place

Great local dumpling spot. (Usually) cash only, not sure if that has changed recently. Regardless, the prices are always reasonable. This is a great spot to pick up good, affordable Asian American comfort food. The dumplings are obviously up to snuff, but my lowkey favorite is the scallion pancake.

Our usual order:
Fried pork dumplings, scallion pancakes, house kimchi and a coke.

Really terrific, dumplings were fresh and STUFFED. Bao was nice, but could have used a bit more flavor
