Tire Shop DunnSport reviews
16Dunn Sport does great work with efficiency. I highly recommend them for work being done to their cars.
Great place for all your rim and tire purchases and repair, brakes, tire balancing and more. Fair pricing and fast service.
Dunn sport is the Best arround in the Bronx, they did a great job on my 2008 TPMS sensor, very cheap while all the rest of the shops in the Bronx including Mavis wanted arround $300, while my man Dunn did it less than that, I will not disclose the price, but was in a far far far better price, everyone should support Dunn he deserves it and is in business over 40 years, great guy and intelligent employees, 5 to 20 Stars to them, I was talking about my Honda Accord today Thursday morning
Dunn and his team are down to earth community professionals. Though the wait can be on the long side at times, it's because they are thorough and there's always a line of people waiting to get service. Finally and most importantly, their prices cannot be beat. I had back rotors and pads changed with a wheel alignment for $160, literally half the price of a dealer.
If you have a few hours of disposable time and want a high quality job done for the cheapest price, find your spot in line at Dunn.
Good Place to get tires, however if your looking to fix a cracked rim don't go here. I knew something was up the moment I was told there's no warranty on our work. I paid $80 for the to fix the crack and now a week later my tires is loosing air again. You get what you pay for tho.
DunnSport has a great team that has great communication. Mr. Dunn directs his team like a ships captain and is not scared of getting his hands dirty. I was able to bring my own tires, have my wheels fixed of dents caused by NYS potholes and have the car aligned. All in one morning while I waited. My car has never felt so smooth on the road. I will definitely taking my car back got future tire needs.
These guys work hard outdoors in 4 seasons. There’s no fancy indoor waiting room here, but you won’t catch a mechanic here with his hands on his hips like you will at MAVIS! First come first served.
Excellent! The owner is very compassionate and understanding will recommend anyone to go there for their tire needs
Dunn very understand person tell you like it take care for his customers when he is wrong he fix and move along much respect bro keep up the good work and keeping people safe on the road thank you my car driver great
I arrive @ Dunns tire shop and ask if they could raise my car to about 6 inches from the ground. Dunn's sister directs me to another mechanic who's the suspension guy. He said they could do the job for $200 but I'd have to wait 1 to 1 1/2 hours to which I agreed. An hour into waiting my turn, the suspension guy comes to the car and says: I spoke to the man, and he said the job is $300. Peace Dunn. I would rather drive a few extra miles for tire, brake and suspension maintenance.
Great knowledgeable people the owner is great an even comes out an talks to you (that’s something the big box stores can’t recreate)
Needed tire locks for a recently purchased BMW X6 Great advice and quick service! Keep it up Dunn!
The shop manager is a professional. The owner is on point when he wants to be, but they do their work on the sidewalk and are very unorganized, and their staff are poorly trained.
One mechanic jacked up my Range Rover without dropping the suspension (standard) which had my truck going into “extended suspension mode” for 6 hours on and off. I didn’t say anything because I built a relationship with the guys and was hoping to do other work. Dunn quickly reprimanded the worker, which I respected. But, the damage was done.
I suppose what broke the camel’s back is when they “threw out” my old wheel, including my $100 TPMS sensor, when I specifically asked him to put it aside for when I come back to do the wheels.
After traveling for business, about 3 weeks later I contact them to do the job and my sensor + center cap they “threw out. ” It’s a typical corner hustler tire shop and if you want the good work, hit Mavis. Better equipment, better prices and staff training is superior to this establishment. Mavis is also across the street. Bought a set of Michelin Pilot Sport as4’s for $230/tire and Dunn quotes me $295 and says “I can’t go lower. ” Meanwhile, Mavis completely undercut them without breaking a sweat — and your work isn’t done on the side walk like a clown on a balancing ball.
If you are looking for wheel re-finishing, go to: Westchester Wheel Repair or Silverstar Wheel Repair in NJ.
“Dunn Sport” more like “Leave, Abort”

I was referred to this shop almost 2 years ago to fix a run-flat rim. Well run operation with a busy and polite staff. Well, after welding job to fix a cracked rim and some great additional complementary add-on and great advice, my car was back on the road for a reasonable price. I expected this repair to last 6 months, but it’s well over a year and I’m here to get another tire repaired. If you’re looking for anything tire repair related AND exceptional service, try these guys; they not disappoint!
So helpful. Great prices and great advice absolutely wonderful service. Dunn the owner is the best.
Dunn sport is an excellent spot to get your rims back to looking new or even better than it was originally. I had some rims transformed from dull grey to shinny black and I had my calibers painted yellow. They took my midnight blue bimmer to the next level. Compliments since day 1 and the quality of service was as expected, excellent. Thanks for the quality job. Gkey
