They were so kind and patient. The Dr.was thorough even asking questions that helped her understand my sight, that I wouldn't have thought to mention. They are my go to from now on.

I found all staff at Dutchess Optometry delightfully pleasant, courteous and attentive. Dr Lappan was quite nice, informative, and she provided clarification on how a previous eye exam I had with a different optometrist in another state could have included a misdiagnosis of early cataracts. I came away from my visit with a clean bill of eye-health, and a cool new pair of glasses.

Love this place! I found DCO via my provider’s directory and lucked up on a last minute appointment. As a first time visitor, it was really awesome! The staff was super personable (loved my conversation with Becky️) the facility was clean and the entire process was incredibly efficient! Tons of thanks to Dutchess County Optometry!

I was very impressed with Dr. Lappan - she is extremely professional, friendly, and thorough, and extremely knowledgeable and eager to answer questions and provide explanations. The office is kept very sanitary, and wait time was very short. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I am 61 and have worn glasses since 3rd grade, and this was the best optometrist experience I have ever had! I would highly recommend Dutchess Optometry!

Terri is so great to work with at the Poughkeepsie office! Every time I have to go in I ask for her because she does such a phenomenal job when it comes to frames and lenses and the million questions I have. Since she has such an eclectic collection of frames herself she is very good with suggestions for frames that will suit you and your face. Need adjustments? She is great at making those slight adjustments until it's absolutely perfect! Which is great for me as I never know if it's going to be too tight or too loose or what. Even with a mask on these days! She's wonderful. Even if I have an appointment at the Red Hook office I will always buy from Terri. She'll never steer you wrong!

Always an excellent experience for my annual exam and picking a new pair of glasses. Dr. Sheedy and Dr. Lappan are both very through and Terri is so accommodating and knowledgeable for selecting frames and lenses. I have been a patient for 10 years and always have had good experiences.

I've been a patient of Dr. Tracy Sheedy for a number of years and I recommend her without reservation. I have an eye health issue which I've been managing successfully with her care for many years, and I've always purchased my regular glasses and sunglasses from the practice because I have full confidence that they will be correct every time-plus they have a great selection of frames to choose from. The staff is extremely well-organized, warm and friendly, and professional, and the doctors are always on schedule. I have never felt rushed with Dr. Sheedy; I feel like I'm the only patient she sees all day-she gives me lots of time to discuss eye and general health issues, and when I contact her via the patient portal between appointments, she gets back to me in a timely fashion.

Staff is great and super friendly. Dr. Takahashi knows her stuff and was pleasure to work with.

We has used D. O.for years to get my daughter’s glasses. They always took care of us, even when we needed a frame replacement due to a cosmetic defect. Recently, I had an eye competed for myself. Friendly, knowledgeable, and clean! The staff absolutely know what to do and makes your visit enjoyable! They are top notch and definitely on top of COVID clean/compliance.

As usual, Dr. Lappan is so professional and friendly. It is always a wonderful experience to have her conduct.my exam. She explains what is being done, shares the results with me and is a pleasure to deal with. Mrs. Netto is extremely good at helping me select new frames and also fun to work with making the selection. The staff at the front desk are always pleasant and helpful. This is my first time there since the COVID virus and they have a good procedure. They all wore face masks, the office was cleaned and they required their patients to wear masks. They were very proactive in social distancing for their patients. I feltl very comfortable there.
