Came in today to replace the dust bin door on dysentery. Place was easy to find and the young man who was working there was very nice from the the time I came in. My item was repaired within five minutes. Thank you

We went there to fix my old ball2 upright vacuum. He checked the model and said that it's no longer under warranty. I said yes, I know. He removed the base, checked the top, checked some more. In the end he took out an IKEA pencil from inside. I was so embarrassed, could guess how it got there, but not sure. He didn't take a dime, said you are good to go and wished us happy New year. I assume he guessed we were not local, so most likely drove there, no public transport. The service center is 45 minute drive from where we live in Brooklyn. The least I could do is leave this review. Thanks a lot, kudos to the store team!

Excellent service. Dyson service center is a hidden gem. They are very kind, knowledgeable, and do great work. They also have a small store and you can test out a few of their products.

Horrible service. Walked in today and didn’t even get a hello. Looked at the machine shouted a price at me and told me after that because the serial number was washed off that it will be hard to service. Then continued to tell me it’ll be better to get a new machine. Some service lol. So rude and to not even say hello. It’s the day after Christmas, have some decency

Love how convenient this service center is! The staff is so friendly and super informative, very knowledgeable of the products!
They also sell new items in the store sometimes at a discounted rate! Glad we have this service center in Long Island, there’s not many around!

Just got my vac returned and is doing the same exact thing I sent it in for “blockage”. Got charged $75 for a “cleaning” and told it works fine and that i even got a 1/2 price discount. Called to tell them it still says blockage after opening it out of the box from the service center and: 20 seconds after running it’s off again and doing nothing - which is why we sent it in. Gentleman on phone was nasty and instantly said these possibilities of why it is happening are: 1) shipping company dropped the box from them to me (doubtful, because the Vac is doing the same EXACT thing we sent it in to be repaired for 2) he suggested we attempted we tried to use it too many times prior to sending it in and burnt it out (if this was the case, they should have been aware of this in the shop and repaired the ‘burnt out’ circuit board or motor then). 3) was then told it must’ve been something we did to it after getting it back as we received it 2 weeks ago- although, we just opened it out of the box and doesn’t work instantly, basically wasn’t fixed.

All I wanted was for them to take another look at it.

Then he was looking at the work that was done on his report, told me it was the best mechanic in the place, but was unable to find what model Vacuum I even had which is odd to me since he had the “repair report” in front of him. Finished by saying “there’s probably not much that can be done at this point. Basically, they did nothing and buy a new one. Vac is 3 years old maybe- disappointed in dyson and this shop may be good, but the gentleman on the phone should not be dealing with customers.

Update: was responded by DYSON OWNER to this review as you see 2 months ago.
After 6 phone calls and promised refunds for the non-service I received and the insulting customer service again at the shop, nothing has been done to resolve this. As of now, Dyson stands by their repair shops lack of respect for customers and insulting remarks towards my wife and I. I actually expected Dyson to make this situation right- but they did not. Terrible service and so far a false statement to make this better and correct the issue. Still waiting for something to be done… 6 phone calls, long email chains that all end up nowhere - seems like Dyson has failed me.
I’ll never buy Dyson again.

I came in with my Dyson & Walter immediately noticed the issue. He unclogged the filter so quickly and the problem was solved. He didn’t charge me anything and was so nice. I definitely recommend this location! Thank you again Walter!

Yesterday I brought my dyson here, and there was a guy who fixed it within 5 minutes, and he told me that it will cost $179, but only today did I realized that he was joking and he did not charge anything but fixed my dyson. I was so impressed and embarassed that I did not even give any tip to the gentelman. Bro, Thank you so much!

Visited the service center for the first time today and Walter helped me fix and replace my vacuum battery. He was extremely attentive and helpful and I’m very happy he assisted me! Thank you Walter

I sent my Dyson vacuum here for repair & recieved a call from Rich stating that the part for my machine is no longer made by Dyson & cannot be repaired. He suggested/offered purchasing a new vacuum model through him. I said I’d review the models online & would call back. Within 30 minutes I called to place my order which online was offering a free attachment w/ order. While ordering, I mentioned this promotion to Rich who proceeded to cut me off, saying he’d send my machine back to me & abruptly disconnected the call. A truly unfortunate & unwarranted, poor example of customer service.

SHAME ON YOU! My husband brought our $700 Dyson V11 into the Plainview Service Center for repair. Apparently you didn't look at the entire vacuum to figure out the problem. You made a quick analysis and sold him a replacement head for $130. He brought it home and it didn't work. He brought it back and you said it was something else for over $100, which thankfully he didn't buy. You didn't analyze the problem correctly to begin with so now you were trying to cover your tracks. You said the filter I replaced was not Dyson and that caused the problem. It wasn't working correctly BEFORE I bought the filter (which I bought because I was unable to find Dyson filters anywhere). So why didn't you see that to begin with? You wouldn't even give him store credit for the part that you sold him that didn't work! He came home $130 poorer with a vacuum that doesn't work. SHAME ON YOU! I will definitely tell everyone I know to NEVER shop at your store!

UPDATE: Huge THANKS to Teanna at Dyson for reaching out to me and rectifying this situation! I'm not sure if you work at the service center or for Dyson directly, but thanks to you, I'm a very satisfied Dyson customer! Teanna, You're The Best!:)

I went in to get my Dyson air wrap repaired and was genuinely satisfying with my experience. The person who helped me was able to fix my machine right then and there and explained how to prevent the issue from arising again. Really an all around good experience at this repair shop.

Brought my vacuum here & they gave me an honest assessment, Vacuum was 7+ yrs old & smelt like it was burning when the unit was on for awhile. Tech told me that the motor is on is way out & gave me a discount on a brand new unit which they setup for me.
