East Garden chinese food, Poughkeepsie NY

Quick to order. Food is typical for the Poughkeepsie area take out. It took a bit to get the food. All and all I would go again.

Just a Chinese food restaurant take-out, mostly 1 table inside, never seen anyone eat there. Food is pretty good for a fast dash for something good to eat

This place has amazing food and the service is great! Such nice people and always I’m pleased with everything!

Love the food here, lo main and chicken with broccoli are very good, my 6 years old son finished almost everything with dinner size. Will have them on my weekly calendar

Very rude staff, super disappointing. No customer service skills, messed up orders of mine more than once and they talk on the phone with such entitlement like it’s not the customers keeping them in business. Young woman on the phone told me “go eat the restaurant instead of rectifying their mistake.

Unfortunately my family and I had the right idea to order Chinese food but the wrong idea to order from this place. Upon placing our order my sister got “pork fried rice with absolutely no onions” & she repeated this several times. She also stated she is highly allergic! Amongst this we had 2 other orders. Once we received our order the pork fried rice had onions in it and a lot of them at that, which were under the surface of the food. My sister ate some believing that they did not put the onions in there and she went into anaphylactic shock, we then had to administer an epi-pen. Once we called the restaurant to make them aware of their mistake the woman on the phone said “oh well you can try a different place” & “I read the order back to you”. When she did read it she stated no onions. So here we are with an ER visits due to this restaurants poor customer service and lack of accountability. In regards to the food, it is okay but I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. My family has been in a frenzy worrying about my sisters health. Very disappointed in this establishment & their customer service.

Food is good. Egg rolls are smaller then other restaurants. Has a gluten free menu and a vegan menu which is really nice.

Food is always good, they make it really fast and the staff are always nice. The location is a little meh but no big deal

I am not one to complain, but the customer service is disgusting. They do not know how to speak to their customers. The only thing they care about is their money. My husband and I called to make a delivery. She placed us on hold and took another phone call with somebody else on the phone, while we were listening to their conversation with that person. He told her that the price was too high. She then proceeded to say I have customers that wanna pay, and proceeded to speak with us, she had a very nasty disposition. Both lady’s I spoke to no customer service experience, and no experience working with human beings.

The lady on the phone told me a price but when the delivery guy got here, he told me a different price. Food was terrible wasn’t even worth it. Never again will I order!

My first time ordering here fast delievery the guy was very nice and the food was delicious will be ordering again

It all had a mushy consistency and the fried food (egg rolls and ragoons) had a chewy shell
