Pete is the best! He is very thorough. I have tried different instructors but he is by far the best. He will make sure you have perfected all the things the examiners are looking for.

Ricky- Was really good at teaching me to always remember to drive with two hands at all times. And also was always go helping me to remember to always use my signals when turning and switching lanes.

Loved driving with Norman! He made driving easy and comfortable. He helped boost my confidence in my driving, which led to my recent passing of my road test. If you can request a instructor, Norman is your best option!

Having Ricky as my instructor was a great experience! He confirmed lessons the day or two before which I believed to be very professional. He was very calm and reassuring during lessons and has taught me everything I need to know in order to feel prepared for the road test.

Great Driving School! After taking the road test for the first time and failing, I signed up with EMDS. Meg Lisnoff was my instructor. She was friendly and made me feel comfortable in the car. She took the time to go over the deductions from the first attempt and made sure it didn’t happen again. The day of the road test she even showed up a little early to ensure I had that extra practice. Her hard work paid off as I passed! Thank you Meg!

My son Justin was a "hesitant" new driver. He waited until he was 19 to really start. Sherri was great, put him at ease and helped him pass on his first attempt. Much appreciated. Ask for Sherri, she will not steer you wrong!

Driver instructor Andrew aka Andy was the best. He helped me and all of my friends so much and we all passed our road test on the first try with Andy as our instructor. He’s a great guy and i highly recommend him if you can pick your instructor.

My teacher Brad took the time to make sure my fellow students and I finished drivers ed as confident drivers and parallel parkers. I am thankful that I got Brad as a teacher; he was very encouraging and patient throughout the course.

I would just like to say that because of Pete Colaianni I have learned so much about being a safe and active driver. Because of him I was able to get a perfect score the on my first try of my road test. If anyone is lookin for an amazing driving instructor, Pete’s your guy

My instructor, Sherie Dunston, was amazingly helpful in fine tuning my mistakes on the road. Little things make all the difference and she really helped me realize that. Incredibly kind and works with your schedule, even letting me put in extra time. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve been taking my driving lessons with this company and it was a really great experience. My driving instructor Mr. Barden was a positive figure in the car & taught me skills I will be needing everyday. Skills that will help all unexprience drivers.

They were absolutely helpful. My daughter who took drivers ed from her high school through east meadow driving school was scheduled for her road test with our own vehicle. Our car broke down the day before the test and east meadow was kind enough to squeeze us in and let her take her test on the scheduled date instead of us having to reschedule. I am truly thankful

I took driving lessons with East Meadow through my school's summer program. The driving lessons, which were done by East Meadow, were easily the best part: I learned useful experience and learn great techniques through the class, and the instructor, Mr. John Barden, was very personable and a joy to learn from. We learned both how to pass a road test and practical driving that we'll no doubt need well after the test.

My driving instructor was Pete Colainni his summer, he was really good. He taught us a lot, and was very patient and made sure everyone had enough time to practice.

Sherry is a great driving instructor. She is calm, patient, and very good at teaching the ways of the road. She is very good at giving students helpful tips and she speaks with a lot of experience.
