East Shore Gym 24/7 reviews
2 I don’t know why some of the reviews give this place a hard time. It’s very easy to access once you get a membership and they have all the equipment you need. Everything is a little “dingy” but at the price point of the membership and for 24/7 I think a little dirt and duct tape on some equipment is fine. It’s never super busy and I feel super comfortable here.
Other gyms I’ve tried in the area is island fitness on community corners: equipment is newer there but it’s not as spaced out as East Shore or 24/7. I often felt crammed there/just didn’t like the vibes. But it could be a really good option for someone else. I also go to planet fitness which is extremely limited for my goals and the only good thing about it is the $10 a month/it’s a 2 minute drive from my house.
Really glad I found east shore gym!
This gym is past its prime. It looks much worse in person than it does in pictures. The equipment is very old, cables are frayed, steel is bent, and the padding on almost everything is covered in duct tape. Nothing is ever cleaned well, no phone service and wifi is spotty, and the manager refuses to provide water bottles, upkeep a cooler, or address the broken fountain. It’s ok in the winter but with no air conditioning or windows the place is a sauna in the summer to the point where it’s unbearable. Pretty annoying to have to pay $20 for a new pass every time you get a new cell phone as well. The only positive is it’s open 24hrs.
Edit 1/25: My membership was terminated without warning for leaving this review even though I have been a respectful patron for 2 years. I was hoping the owner would accept this review as feedback, but this was not the case.
