East-West Music School, Flushing NY

An amazing musical school. My daughter has been to couple of musical schools but finally we found someplace where she is comfortable, learns and her performance is advanced after every lesson.
Especially during this COVID19 pandemic days the school has put so much effort to be there for their students by shifting to online virtual classes and it's working amazing.

East-West Music School offers a wide variety of music lessons and enlists many accomplished, dedicated and experienced professional musicians with active performing and teaching careers. My daughter studied piano under Mr. Liu for eight years and is studying violin under Ms. Chen. She has reached ABRSM Piano Grade 8 and is currently preparing ABRSM Violin Grade 8. Both teachers are very committed with their teaching, they put focus on technical skills as well as having fun and enjoy music and their teaching methods are well adapted based on my daughter progress. East-West Music School also offers group or one on one lessons in Aural and Music Theory to help prepare it's students for the ABRSM and NYSSMA exams. I also like the bi-annual concerts the school offers its students. These concerts provide the opportunities for my daughter to showcase her skills through performances, build her confidence of performing in front of large group of audiences.

My son is 13-year-old with mild learning difficulties. We have tried other music schools before but he hated them. At the East - West Music School, the teachers are just amazing! They are knowlegable, passionate and experienced! My son has been taking the piano lessons from Mr. Adams and singing lessons from Mr. Andrew, and he enjoys the lessons so much that he finally starts making real progresses!

My son Kaiden Cheng has been taking guitar lesson since June 2016 with Mr. Takenori. He is a wonderful music teacher and works amazingly with his students. On October 2018 my son took his ABRSM exam and pass Grade 2 Guitar with Merit.

Our journey with East-West Music school began in 2015. My daughter takes Violin lessons with Mr. Joe. He is a wonderful and talented teacher with a warm personality. He is extremely kind and patient and creates an assertive learning environment. He inspires my daughter to make steady progress, week over week and and I have seen tremendous growth in her Violin playing skills and also her confidence.

She will be taking the ABRSM Grade 1 exam this fall, the school also provides AURAL lessons to help prepare for the exam.

The school also does couple of concerts in a year, which gives the students an opportunity to shine and boosts their confidence. The parents enjoy hearing their child's progress and it benefits the participants the most. The concerts are enjoyable and encouraging, showcasing the performances of all ages and all skill levels among the school's students in a warm and friendly environment.

I am really amazed to see the progress my daughter has made over the time from a beginner to being able to play beautiful pieces, and more importantly, it is not only about Violin but more about the music becoming an enjoyable part of her daily life.

I would definitely recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn the art of music in a truly warm, personal and caring environment.

I started learning piano here in 2012 and I'm still learning to this day. The teachers and staff working here are very friendly and do an extremely good job at teaching. I've passed up to grade 5 in ABRSM piano and theory because of my lessons here. The school environment itself is also welcoming while students have lessons in a private small room with only the student and his/her teacher. This boosts the amount of feedback students receive every lesson and really helps every individual student improve based on his/her own needs. I recommend going here if you want your child (or you yourself too!) learn any instrument in the best possible way.

Great service, funny staff, cute teachers, great teaching. Been studying piano for 2 semesters now, good experience so far. I'm an adult student, doing this as a hobby.:)

My daughter is 7 and she has been attending this music school for harp lessons the past 9 months. My daughter enjoys it so much which makes me happy that I found this music school. Mr. Liu is a great teacher. I really want my daughter to be able to take Abrsm exam in the future.
