Eataly NYC Downtown reviews
9Checkout line at 120pm had maybe 40 people.one trainee at the register. I don't have time for this, which is a shame because the bread here is good.
I eat a pizza margherita, but they don't use very mozzarella cheese, but similar.so it isn't very good. This is a shame, because the location is very spectacular. Here you can found a lot of food products, but some are very strange.
I ordered to go dish, that was decent. The thing that bothered me was the manners of the front desk. I asked her if she could get me a glass of water and she just told me to go ahead to a different counter. I went to the different counter and they said they had no glasses. I had to finally reach the manager who went ahead and got me some water while I waited to get my to go order The poor manners of the front desk girl was unacceptable. If a manager can get a customer water then why can’t the front desk lady do so. It is only water! We had great time in Manhattan, but this happened on our last day of trip on 8/30/21 pm.
Nice Italian restaurant and market. Would recommend trying the Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese in the restaurant.
I love the restaurant and the store! I often get prepared food here for dinner. Everything about Eataly is great. I am grateful to live in walking distance. But tourists will love it, too.
The food took so long my hair started turning gray and falling off my head. The portions were as if they were made for a two-year old hamster. It didn’t even taste good and this isn’t just my own opinion, it was the consensus of our whole table. Would not recommend unless you like wasting your time.
Ok the place is ok, the food is not magnificent, the prices are high, the lasagna was horrible dry and almost without cheese, and i think a frozen lasagna probably teste better than that one, The pizza $25 not too good either. The service just fine. This place could work for turist but not for nuyorkers No good in general. Really disappointed
Quality of food and cooking did not live up to the decor or prices. Service was reasonable but we weren't told that the pasta dishes are only available on the main restaurant area. Unfortunately, both of our meals were a let down. Greasy and poorly cooked despite using high end ingredients. Maybe its better for a quick bite and some wine rather than a meal.
