ECMC Family Health Center reviews
7I went to the first person in the clinic. I did what was necessary, such as submitting papers and so on, and I sat for 3 hours waiting for my turn. I asked the employee, “Should I come in? I have a 6-month-old child and he is crying. ” She said to me in a very loud voice, “What do you want? You don’t have to depend on me. Just go and sit for me until they call me. ” Then I sat and waited for two hours, and she entered, all the people before me. I went and spoke to her with respect. She shouted at me and told me, “You don’t have a name with us. Come the next day. ” I got angry, tore up the information, and left, knowing that my condition was serious, and I had to see the doctor. I do not recommend him at all.never
Don't waste your money. After months of back pain I went here. My back pain in severe enough I only sleep about 3 hrs a day. The doctor tells me he can visually see muscle that is bunched.
The doctors way for me to find this is to continue the stretches I have been doing. It will eventually work it out he stated. So in the doctors expert option I can call back in a few months if that doesn't help
Don't waiste your time here. You can get better help yourself on youtube
Going to the suburbs. This place is horrible I'm done. I been done with this place bit I'm done after yesterday. Went for blood work the guy keeps the script & gave me my blood in tubes & told me to send out to whoever wants it.when clearly he was supposed to do it this is just absurd. So I tired to send it in but they want the script he kept. Everything I go here it's just a waste of time
Never take your adolescent kids there for mental health they do not care about them give them no help an would rather send them to a unsafe situation then make a simple transfer

The nurses who took care of me during my two hospital stays deserve more, Dr Gao, Dr Chopko deserve less.
I have a perforated appendix, that has pus and fluid growths on it. Dr Gao says it is major surgery, my appendix is getting worse but he chooses not to do the surgery because he practices Eastern medicine.
Dr Chopko said he practices European medicine and I won't need to have my perforated appendix out but might still have inflammation. Doesn't care about my pain level or that I can't function. I have been on an antibiotic since 4/3/23. My last appointment Dr Chopko said he would continue me on the antibiotic but never sent it in. When I called the office they said he never documented it and they have to get a hold of him. It is unbelievable.
These trauma drs did not document in my chart so that no one (nurses, other Drs) did not know what the diagnosis was or treatment plan.
I have no idea if I will live through this lack of treatment let alone the perforated appendix.
If pain doesn't matter to you, if not being heard doesn't matter to you, if not being able to function doesn't matter to you, if not knowing whether you will live or die doesn't matter to you, then by all means head right over to the trauma hospital, ECMC, lead by trauma surgeons who only practice Eastern/European medicine to not receive treatment.
Double billing, billing for services that weren't rendered, atrocious hold time on the phone with customer service. Trying to talk to one specific person w/out their ext? Good luck, they will transfer your call a minimum of 6-7 times. Worst health care experience I've ever had
The staff, when you eventually see them, were pleasant and professional. Trying to find where to go to was a different story. I got sent to three different windows then back to the first one to figure out where I was supposed to go. What I was told I was going for turned out to be different than what they were told
The follow up visit was a waste. I waited ninety minutes to see the doctor, who came in, apologized for the wait, then dumped me off to a PA who listened to my lungs, asked me a couple of questions and said, "We're here if you need us". Then he left. I drove from Tonawanda all the way down there, using up vacation time to do so, for that? Why bother?
