Eden Sidewalk Contractors NYC

I hired Eden about a Year ago to do a sidewalk in manhattan, and the sidewalk is already cracked. I called, I emailed and the response se was we are not responsible for cracks in the sidewalk.it was above 10 thousand dollars job.how come you are not responsible? I’ll never use this company again. The woman that I talk to on email only was so disrespectful is unbelievable. She didn’t care at all. If I could I would give zero stars.

Receiving a NYC DOT Sidewalk Violation is stressful, especially when the damage to the sidewalk was caused over time by the roots of a city tree. But the city, after much delay, determined that they would not do the repair because it was not within their range of action. We were fortunate, though, to find Eden General Construction INC. Their entire staff and crew, who were all a pleasure to work with on the repair project, were professional, knowledgeable, respectful, protective of the environment (including the integrity of the tree itself), efficient, reasonable, and responsive every step of the way. Kay was a terrific liaison, always there to connect us with staff members who could help answer our questions, and with CON ED and utilities to make sure digging was safe. We must also salute the pleasant, hard-working, crew who came to do the repairs during a historic summer heat wave but completed the excavation and cement work with great care (consistent with the existing grade level) and timeliness. At the completion of the job, Eden handled the request for Violation Dismissal inspection. What a relief when shortly thereafter NYCDOT sent notification that the violation was officially Dismissed, stating that the repairs and valid permit were all within NYC DOT standards and guidelines. Thanks to Eden our worries are over. Based on our experience, we highly recommend Eden for anyone with a sidewalk project that needs to be done!

I have a pleasant experience working with Eden sidewalk contractors. I request sidewalk removal and reinstall becuase the sidewalk is not level and it will affect my restaurant's outer apperance. Eden Sidewalk contractors quoted me a reasonable price. The crew come in on the agreed day, and they first demolished the old concrete then replace it with the new one for the sidewalk. The entire team show courtesy and professionalism, and I am very satisfied with the work they have done.

Got hit with a DOT violation needing 1100sq ft to be repaired. Reached out, they responded immediately. Returned with a quote MUCH cheaper than letting DOT make the fix!

After of few weeks of waiting on permits, the team came in and did a hella of a job. During the project neighbors were watching and admiring the teams work. Countless people drove up and asked for their contact info. I’ve had neighbors weeks after the job was finished to compliment how good it looks and how fast they worked.

In all they were fair, any concerns or special requests I had they accommodated. When the project was done they submitted a request to have the violations dismissed. I got notification a few weeks later stating that I was cleared of the violations.

I’ve already discussed the next big project with them. Will be seeing them again soon.

They answer calls instead of having to leave a voicemail. They gave me a written and competitive quote. They negotiated the details with me. They scheduled the job and showed up on time. The team who came to remove and reinstall my sidewalk was very experienced, knowledgable, and courteous. They quickly overcame some hurdles, and finished on time. The outcome in my case is an optimal and professional sidewalk. This company cares of what I think, the workers on site and the office personnel both ensured I was happy with their job.
