EF Academy reviews
9I didn’t know you could pay tens of thousands per year to have your kids put in solitary confinement. I thought prison was expensive enough. I’ll need to look into other options. Campus is outdated. Food was from a hospital.
Don't send your kid here, they'll more than likely be accused of plagiarism, placed in mandatory "solitary confinement", and ignored until they commit suicide out of desperation.
I just moved to Morocco after living in NY for over 30 years. I can wholeheartedly say that the EF Academy is an exceptional school for your kids and it truly prepares them for their college years. The staff from the recruiters to the teachers are second to none and they are incredibly good at their craft. I highly recommend this school without any hesitation.

Having had two of our children attend EF (one is still a junior there), I can honestly say that If you're looking for a multi-cultural, well rounded academic experience for your child, you will be very pleased with EF. Both of our children grew and matured tremendously while at EF and were (will be) well prepared for life at college. Our first child had multiple offers from top-tier US colleges and is now doing extremely well at NYU.
The school has a wonderful culture and sense of community. They communicate with parents very well and handled the COVID situation extremely well.
Thanks EF Academy for taking good care of our students and giving the best quality university guidance support to our students. Even during the pandemic period, they carefully follow all the health protocols to provide the safest studying environment.
The campus is beautiful with a lot of green space, beautiful buildings and facilities. The dorm rooms are so cozy. The cafeteria is vibrant and rich of flavors from all sorts. The teachers and staff are caring, kind and always ready to help. The life inside the school is so special!
This is definitely a school I would recommend.
In just one year there, I noticed a 360 degrees change in her attitude toward education. She like science now and is more involved in activities.
The staff like Lauren Blankstein is amazing. She always finds time answer your questions or refer to the right person or office on a timely manner. I like their way of communicating especially in this time of global pandemic.
It had such a nice time here!
My favorite part was getting expelled!
Baited em:)
I have worked @ EF International Academy NY for a couple years now as a Teacher. The place is incredibly unique: this means it has unique people, unique systems, as well as its own set of unique problems.
But all of this is par for the course for a genuine microcosm of the World — a true place of pluralism, representing all walks of life & all habits of human interaction. I learn *so* much from my students every day & I am truly honored to be a part of something that just feels like the Future.
I recommend this school — both to teachers & students alike — if you desire to experience the full cross–section of humanity, in all its highs & lows. Just beware: no day is the same @ EF Academy NY!
