Egg Shop reviews
15Bizarrely tasteless eggs - correctly cooked but oddly watery and flavorless. Bland, mishmash disaster breakfast bowl. Match fizz was in contrast excellent
Not bad, service could have been better. Small dining areas. Fancy great tonshow off to visitors, I wouldn't recommend to budget travelers at all
One of my favorite places to get breakfast.
Cozy place with friendly service and nice food.
The place is nice and the service is good. The food is hit or miss. Dishes were not served hot, but instead warm. The pancakes weren't the best. Then again this is an egg spot not a pancake place. We ordered two flat whites and they were just served as regular café late. I would not recommend ordering a specialty coffee beverage here, best go to a coffee shop.
We were excited to try this place and it totally disappointed, ricotta scrambled is a 0 no seasoning whatsoever just oil and pepper, pancakes lacks flavor, burritos was a 2 out 5, buttermilk biscuits too salty. If you like seasoning in your food this restaurant is not for you, I did looked at the reviews before going and most of these people have no taste buds.
Food presentation was 5/5, only bright side to this.
The place is cute & the customer service is amazing! With that being said, my order took almost 1/2 hour. I got the rose scramble with sausage & an oatmilk lavender latte - takeout. They only have 1 size for the latte which I was bummed about because I love a large latte. I wasn’t the only one who waited a really long time for the food, so I guess they were super busy. Then I realized when I went home that I had no utensils. The scramble was okay, but nothing to brag about; it lacked flavor in my opinion. Everything came out to $26 with tax. I would not come here again but I want to reiterate that I really liked the atmosphere & customer service.
I got the Brie my Baby and it was very oily.
My wife got Egg Shop BEC and it was perfect
Went on a Saturday morning with a buddy and it was starting to get packed. Nice ambience with an upper platform seating overlooking the entrance and bar counter.
Had a cappuccino, sausage egg ‘n cheese sandwich, side of hash browns and a cucumber cooler. Sandwich was good but not mind blowing, hash brown was small and a little too hard for my liking. Cucumber cooler was good though.
Overall food was ok but if there’s a long wait or line to get in I won’t bother waiting. I’ve had eggs and brunch from the original Egg on N 3rd many years ago and that was da bomb. Sadly it’s now closed.
Breakfast here is the best, everything on their menu is delicious. Awesome menu selection to pick from and the service is always top tier here.
Very cute spot, perfect for brunch. Food is delicious however it’s a very busy place and the food takes a while even tho it’s just eggs lol. Make sure you make a reservation cause there is always a line.
Such a fun spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch. Great variety of egg-forward dishes. Tasty coffee and drinks. Super cozy atmosphere and great staff! Indoor and outdoor seating available.
Service and ambience were good but the food was… uh… mid. BEC was $15 for a single fried egg in a nice toasted bun, some cheese in the very middle. It was just ok and not a satisfying or enjoyable meal on its own. The muffin for the Benedict was beyond chewy. Smoked salmon was also kinda tough.
Our waitress was so kind and patient and the food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good breakfast with even better service.
An excellent place for egg and breakfast lovers. We ate avocado toast which was excellent and another one I don't remember but it was also excellent.
Not ordering the Pancake Cottage was not tasty.
Excellent service, highly recommend
These people know how to cook eggs, but I think they spread themselves a little thin with the menu diversity. You can't go wrong with Balthazar breads, but the Smoked brisket was a bit rubbery and the tacos don't remind me of a cornerstone taqueria. I would take out the Mex and focus on the Mediterranean spice (which didn't carry much punch)
