Eisenhower Park reviews
17Was trying to pick up 2 free rapid tests that a lady in lidl told me about.she said there were no lines.however the cops blocked off every entrance, had all kinds of obstacles and cones around so of course huge lines ensued. I drove away.
So much to do here 3 golf courses mini golf driving range. Dog park getting redone.baseball fields. Indoor pool batting cages
I love all of the Geocaches in the area. The park has plenty of stuff for adults and children. Convenient parking and a safe area
So much to do at this great outdoor space. Walking and running, playgrounds, baseball fields, kids soccer, restaurant to name a few.
Excellent park to take long walks or to run there are large football fields and soccer fields and baseball, lots of shaded areas there is a mini golf course also basketball tennis and more enjoyable for big and small ones
Great open space for kids of all ages. My son loves exploring all the different areas. There are toilets on site, which is a plus and often an ice cream truck, although this can be a curse as well as a blessing. There are plenty of areas outside the playground for picnics and barbecues.
Started on the aquatic center, followed the vet good condition bike pathways, ran almost around the Eisenhower park. 10 kilometers. If you are runner, you’d better try it. No crowd here
Nice park, plenty of space for outdoor concerts. Sometimes, dogs can accompany their owners; other times, they are turned away. My pooch and I had a tailgate party in the parking lot and had no trouble hearing the tribute band.
I always go here to pay tribute to the ww2 memorials and play miniature golf. It is one of my favorite park on LI for years.
Awesome space. Picnic, run, bike, play, golf, bring a dog to the dog run. Parking can be confusing but not really if you just go with the flow. Excellent 6 mile loop if you want to run or bike.
Harry Chapin Lakeside Theatre is easy and offers music and cultural events.
A beautiful park and grounds area. Lots of different fields to play on, walk about and just to enjoy the outdoors. There was even a small food festival happening on field 7 or 8 when I first drove through. I was looking for field 1 which is directly on Merrick and Hempstead Turnpike. That section had the largest parking lot, close to the public restrooms and steps from a Health and Aquatic Center from the looks of the signage. The outdoor picnic tables are covered and nearby grilling stations make it a prime spot for large gatherings. Well maintained facilities and detailed maps should you need them available at the park office.
Went to play golf what happend to a nice cheap round for $24 dollars or so
Lady told me $46.for 18 holes
And full price for my daughter who wasn't playing just wanted to watch.
Wayyy too much rather go to a private course at that stage.
Very disappointed.
Also I stil would have had to pay for a cart?
Public courses should be free to high paying
Tax payers. Or at least reduced.
Party in Park was under steel Pergola near Baseball fields. (Not that I play, but those fields were beautiful.)
Party Area was nice as well.
Central Park on Long Island. Eisenhower Park is a wonderful place to visit. Well maintained outdoors grounds and very safe for your family. Eisenhower Park offers a list of indoor and outdoor activities, highly recommend
I went there for a special concert and fireworks. I was very organized even though it was packed.
I have gone there in past years alot.
Nice and clean park. Spacious for everyone to enjoy themselves and not be on top of one another. Nice park for kids to enjoy as well. Little built in grills help out a bit. No issues, just everyone out and enjoying themselves.
