Store with a heart

Been there today for some supplies for work, buying for the company I work for, had been a rough week and the person who helped me could see it in my face, instead of ignoring and keep on with his day, he took the time to ask if I was ok and if needed something and not satisfied went on giving me something to drink, kudos to the generous and kind attitude that goes beyond running a business.

Anybody need supplies for work or home, please go there and keep this business thriving, we need more people like that.

The guys here are always knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. When I needed the heads cut off some bolts the owner whipped out the grinder and took care of it for me. Home Depot ain't doing that!

Friendly helpful staff, they have everything you need for home and house repairs. The barrio's version of home Depot.

Awesome shop you can find almost everything you need for a job or even home supply or car stuff. Really good service by darwin.

I like having a neighborhood hardware store that still provides the basics of a hardware store, as well as the needs of the changing community without pushing out the staple items they have always stocked.
Very friendly helpful staff, never a long wait getting through checkout. I have being going here for years, and heading over there now to grab something quick. Its only 2 blocks from the 6 train 103 Street Station.

If you need hardware and you are on the Upper UES or East Harlem then this is the place to go. Very nice and helpful staff and an amazing inventory given the small size of the store.

Great service. Adequate supplies. Good prices. They'll order for you what they don't have and won't ask for skyrocketed commission.

I went in with the wrong idea of what I needed. The owner pointed me in a better direction and sold me a product that cost a third of what the original would have. El Barrio is a great example of why I prefer to shop at local, family owned stores. They have my trust and loyalty.

I was only on the phone with him and his customer sec was impeccable I was inquiring about my lock he took the time out to help me and was very detailed oriented and professional he made feel very comfortable b4 even going in to the establishment thanku Darwin

I went to this store to have my locks changed, the store associate was so helpful and friendly; and explained a better solution to have my locks changed that was inexpensive. The guy that came to change my locks came right on time and was quick, He was friendly and made sure I was able to open and close the door smoothly before he left. The service was great and I am very happy I came here. Would def recommend.
