Extremely beautiful views. The entrance isn't well marked and we ended up at someone's house. When the path splits you need to go to the left. Once you arrive it's just a big grass field to park in. It's a beautiful walk to the beach but don't forget the bug spray and sunscreen.

A little bit of woods, some swamp (with a boardwalk to walk over), and a meadow bring you down to the water. It's always lovely, sometimes muddy. I think it's about 3/4 of a mile from parking lot to water so not a difficult walk for many people. Not wheelchair accessible. Pretty Summer Snowdrop flowers in the spring (see photo).

Really unique place. Parking is a bit weird, but once you get down to the grassy parking lot you’re good to go, the trailhead signage starts down one of the paths. Like I said, the set up is weird but once you find it, it all gets better! The beach area was very interesting with all of the washed up fresh water lake shells. So there wasn’t necessarily sand, it was super thick layers of shells. Which is cool, but sitting down is a bit uncomfortable so keep that in mind. The best place to sit and relax is probably down a little further ways south where there is actually sand. That’s a different location though. This place has a few bridges that are very low to the water and we thought that was cool. Bring the kids, dogs, everyone. The whole hike is a couple miles and it’s all well worth it.
