The best Dominican food in Mt Vernon. Staff is super friendly. The variety of food is great.
The best Dominican restaurant in Mt Vernon. Great attention and variety of food with a lot of flavor. Very balanced seasoning.
This is the only spanish restaurant local from where I work and live breakfast is always good but in all honesty I’m not crazy about there lunches one piece of meat and like 3 spoons of rice you have to pay more to eat inside I ordered oxtail once they gave me 3 pieces that was very hard sometimes the food is a hit or miss sometimes it’s not cooked all the way threw and they give you the old rice on the bottom I stopped coming here for lunch when they gave me pure bones in my chicken soup
Visited a week or so ago found a home cooked breakfast, very good hot oatmeal drink large $5 in a cup. And tried their “3 golpes” without the meat. I had to sit down price was around $8 for the plate included mashed green young banana, a bit burnt fried cheese, fried hard eggs, with nicely pickled red onions. Overall good flavor. Ask for their home made green sauce which is mild and adds the touch to the meal. Red is very spicy.
Need improvement: table needed some cleaning and restroom missing hand soap & paper. Staff was pleasant but not much English. Very loud music playing in background.
Food was okay I guess. I also ordered oxtails.she have me 3 oxtails and white rice for $13…. I thought that was a little ridiculous…
The cow foot soup is super good.bought a medium in the plastic container and decided to sit right there in the restaurant and drink it and was charged $1 extra. That bothered me but the soup made up for it.
Very bad service, my girls got sick to their bellies from an expired tres leche, they talk to you badly as if you were asking them, sometimes they cook good and other times bad, it's as if they didn't have a regular cook.
The worst place to order, they never understand anything they are endlessly ignorant they never take the phone number right and the reason I took my time to leave this review was because I ordered a combo and the soda when I opened it practically exploded and made an absolute mess everything and that is only a little of what I can say because every time they take the prize in ignorance. THEY NEVER LEARN!
