Went to pick up food reserved on Too Good To Go, none of the staff recognize the app, it was kind of a waste of time.

I ordered a pick up from here on Uber eats at 4: 30pm. Pickup time was set for 5: 00pm. Of everything I ordered there was only 1 thing that had to be cooked in the kitchen (Chicken Parmigiana). I arrived at 5: 00pm for my pickup and left at 5: 30pm. I was so angry I took my bag and left, while I’m taking out of the bag afterwards I realize 2 things were missing. Very poor service. I’ve worked in restaurants like this and I’ll say this. If you don’t have the capability because of timing or employees to take orders inside the restaurant, from the steam table, normal delivery and Uber Eats delivery, then DONT do it. Don’t overwhelm yourself, don’t overwhelm your employees and then maybe you wont have frustrated and disgruntled ex-customers.

Nice little homey spot in Jamaica.food is pretty good, nothing exotic good for a regular day out with your other half for some dinner. Nothing crazy.

Ordered from here twice and both times something went wrong. I ordered boneless fried chicken for delivery which was suppose to come with green plantains but when I got my order it wasn’t in the bag. Second time I ordered a family combo and the baked chicken was incredibly salty to the point of not being edible. Won’t be ordering from here for a while.

Ordered food for delivery. Lady stated I would get my food in 20 mins. After waiting 40 mins I was told my food is on its way NOW. Another 25 mins pass I call back & was asked what my order was and my address Lol. Then claimed my food was on its way out NOW again! 3 mins pass someone called back to ask if I wanted to cancel my order! If I can give zero stars I would as it was my first experience and my last!

Dominican food, really good, arroz con gandules is good I also like the beef empanadas, they have lunch specials everyday.

Great place for lunch/dinner. Big area in the back to social distance. Lots of options to choose from. Affordable prices.

I am so disappointed in my experience with this restaurant! Believe all the bad reviews. I have never been the type to write a review, but this experience was terrible. I ordered a plain mofongo with pepper steak from this place for delivery along with a few other items, and I repeated and the man on the phone also repeated it like 10 times because I wanted to make sure they got it right. I pay with my card over the phone, food comes and they sent a chicken mofongo and didn’t send the pepper steak after waiting a long time for the delivery. When I call to let them know it was missed the woman who picked up had full blown attitude and said “it’s life” in Spanish “así es la vida” it was condescending and a complete slap in the face. Food service is supposed to be taken seriously especially when dealing with food thats being paid for. The man who claimed to be the owner said it has never happened to him since 2013. Obviously a lie judging by the reviews here and that there’s nothing he can do. Please save your money; I wanted to give this place a shot. But they’re so many other Spanish food restaurants in the neighborhood with great service and delicious food. I just wanted to give this one a try. FIRST AND LAST TIME EVER.
A message to the owner: your employees are a representation of your restaurant! And the way the lady on the phone spoke to me, says TERRIBLY about your restaurant and values! It’s disgusting.
