El Nuevo Bohío, Bronx NY

Was walking by and wanted to try something new. Spanish food isn't new to me but the restaurant is. Everyone cooks differently and I would like to give each place I go to a try. I didn't get the usual pollo, I went for the beef stew. The atmosphere was very welcoming, you feel as if your in puerto rico. The food was delicious, filling and it hit the spot. Felt like a good home cooked meal. Staff is friendly and there is a n option to eat in or take out.

I ordered los 3 golpes instead of mangu I got yuca the yuca was so dry and hard the eggs wasn’t even fully cooked the salami was overcooked I had to throw the whole thing away if u guys don’t want to work go home instead of messing people food up I will never be ordering from here again

Went there to get some pork and yuca for my 91 year old mom, she couldn't eat it the Yuca was so hard when I cut into it it was not fully cooked, also they didn't want hear me when I was trying to let them know I wanted a tender juicy piece because my mom can't chew very well, well what I wind up getting was some dry stringy pork. What a disappointment. My mother eats like a one year old and I paid $14.00 for something no one ate because I gave it to my sister and she said she doesn't like stringy dry meat nor non cooked yuca. Hey so still a lot of people go pick food there maybe they're unfamiliar with good service.

The food is good if you're patient and don't mind waiting.even when there's nobody there. No table service and the counter people are SLOW! Also, it not cheap considering how it looks. I've been there twice in the last 3 years cause it can be loud and I need to prepare myself for the boisterous inconsiderates on cell phones.

The food is great but I miss the old service with the waitresses catering to you instead of making that line and taking the tray yourself to the table.

I’m so upset; I get charged for a large pan of white rice i called for order pick, come to find out in my bag it’s a small container, I was so upset I’m coming a 45 minute plus drive from work to home to pick up food and they can’t even get a order right! Absolutely ridiculous and I got charge what I didn’t get, absolutely ridiculous, when you guys pick up the phone YOU NEED TO HEAR PEOPLES ORDER CLEARLY and not give them the wrong thing

Authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. Delish & generous portions. The mofongo dish was just like those made in Puerto Rico.

What an embarrassment for so many years Me eating in El Bohio and Wow What a disappointment I bought a Pastry an Alcapurria A Potato Filling A Piece of Blood Sausage and a Fried Cod Oh I DON'T BELIEVE IT! Everything Was Cold Hard Pretty Old The Food. WOW

I didn't like the taste and my companions hadn't gone to the other bohio either months ago and everything was delicious I thought it would be the same. Besides, I wanted to pay a homeless person and they treated me very badly.

They need to close this place down the food is no good it's that bad or there are they don't like English the food is not cook if I get sick this is my sick

They are NOT as awesome as they used to be, but they are still good. The price has gone up $10 plus tax for a lunch. Wouldn't have any issue with that price if they were still as good as before. But Ooooh well. Happy eating! Be safe!

Restaurant is ok, but they need to come up with a better system with the line at entry point it is unorganized. That's to buy food and pick up.

Delicioso. Meats, rice, beans are all fuego. The fried items (empanada, etc.) are not so great. Tasted like old oil. But overall would definitely come back for more.

Rice, beans and chicken are great. Beans were my favorite, very flavorful. The restaurant needs to be more organized regarding the line to order and pick up food, but other than that, offers delicious and fairly priced food. Will come back.

I order food from this restaurant. I ordered a Cuban sandwich and a milkshake. The food was terrible especially the milk shake. I wanted to throw up the taste of milk shake was nasty. I don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone don’t waist your money with this place. Zero stars for this place food.
