El Toro Mexican Grill & Bar, Amherst NY

I love this place! Great price, the food is always delicious and the servers are always friendly!

Great spot I just tried for the first time and the food was amazing, flavorful and made with care oh yeah and it was hot which I like. I’d also like to add that I didn’t wait long for our food to arrive at our table. Not to mention they have the best margarita’s!

The interior was stunning if I had to say it’s my top 5 favorite Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to, the service was great and the food was delicious and came out quickly, if your driving near El toro you need to go and grab a bite the food, is to die for and that restaurant will definitely get more visits from me.

The food was good. The staff seemed nice. I do however think it is weird they added a fee for takeout. Also the park is tight. Probably a place I would avoid during busy times.

Update
Went and ate in and definitely wouldn't do it again. The women who were working kept trying to get us to order and failed to give us enough time to look at the menu. When we were finally ready and told the one woman she said the other person would be with us. It was more frustrating for myself. Next time we will just order takeout.

Flavorful, authentic dishes. Huge portions. Definitely enough for leftovers. Will definitely be back!

I would probably go four and a half if I could. Food was good, but this type of Mexican fair is now readily available. It needs something to set it apart. I have lived in Buffalo too long. Because now a jumbo burrito comes with an expectation of truly massive proportions. Which I did not get from El Toro. It was maybe two bites smaller than when you get at Lloyd's. Food was very good, location is convenient. Service was very pleasant. They need a signature dish. And the guac does not excite.

Delicious, authentic, Mexican cuisine! Also excellent service from the bar, and excellent service at the table. Definitely will be returning here more!

Food was good took awhile to order and then get the food (and it wasn't very Busy) but the food was good.

Definitely different from your run of the mill Tex-Mex food. Margaritas are not from a bag too. They're huge! A bit of a cleaning smell when you walk in.but I'd rather that then the smell of poop or mold. We got here often and get the Molcajete Mar and share it! Soooo much food!

Editing Unfortunately. This place has new owners and the food, menu and drinks changed: (The Molcajete Mar does not exist anymore.they have 2 new versions but neither are pescetarian but you can ask for one of them to have the meat taken out, but the make up is totally different.if you expect it to be the same as before, you'll be disappointed. We used to dream about the Molcajete Mar and wanting to go all the time, but sadly we will only come now when we just want plain old mexican which isn't often. The Margaritas aren't what they used to be either. There is nothing special about them, plus they're smaller. Not sure if they're from a bladder bag.but they aren't how they used to be. Very sad this place changed: (

Fantastic fresh salsa and delicious burrito ranchero. Man that was good as we drove through town looking for something local to eat. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, fresh paint. Mmmm, wish we had that dish in Utah.
