$2000 for the first visit? ! Wow! Just wondering if such a sky high price is legal? ! How any DR can charge patient that much just for the consultation, especially in this difficult times. I guess everyone is desperate. My rating doesn’t base on her professionalism.

My personal experience thru navigating my own chronic conditions along with dozens of unexplained symptoms have been the biggest struggle I've had to face. Prior to the onset of my uninvited conditions 7 years ago, I've had led a normal healthy life. During the first several years from the onset of chronic pain, I've accumulated dozens of other symptoms which led to countless visits to medical specialists. After numerous tests along with their recommendations to treat each symptom, it was clear to me that none of these consultations have provided me with any insight to how all of my struggles were related. Since meeting with Dr. Frid, my current status has improved drastically. I no longer seek out other medical specialists since many of the ailments have been resolved. I was very fortunate to find a doctor who has great knowledge but just as important, her capacity to listen and understand the importance of all details which other specialists may ignore as insignificant.

Dr. Frid is the best! She and her staff are exceptional. My daughter has recovered 100% because of Dr. Frid.
Dr. Frid didn't give us any false hopes and she never looked at us with sad eyes seeing only the brokenness. It was clear we were all working towards the same goal of complete healing. Dr. Frid is a hard-working, smart doctor who continues to educate herself on the latest treatments. She has a very clear plan for treatment tailored to each specific patient. Our process was slow and thoughtful because of the extreme vulnerability. The process was hard but worth the effort, with each step, the symptoms began to resolve. We never felt alone in this recovery and we were given choices for treatment options that we were comfortable with and understood. Dr. Frid, nurse Melanie, and the staff have all been efficient, effective, and professional to our whole family. They are the best and I am grateful that Dr. Frid had the courage to try and help. After missing 2.5 years of school, my daughter is now back better than ever enjoying life as she did before this illness.

I feel extremely grateful that I found Dr. Frid during my struggle with chronic lyme and babesiosis. She is extremely patient and takes the time to learn as much as she can about her patients and their symptoms and how the illness impacts all aspects of daily living. Dr Frid is extremely thorough and is concerned with her patients quality of life during treatment. I have vastly improved since becoming a patient of Dr. Frid, and was even able to finish my college degree after being on an extended medical leave. I have recently undergone IVIG treatment at her office and found it to be a low stress environment with great nursing care (special thanks to Melanie). I would highly recommend Dr. Frid to anyone struggling with lyme or any of its many co-infections. It is rare to find a physician with such an extensive knowledge of tick born illnesses and a doctor willing to think outside the box. We were referred to Dr Elena Frid two years ago, and now she treats myself, and my two daughters (ages 6 and 8). I am extremely impressed with her knowledge (and continual education), as well as her ability to observe things during face to face appointments that I haven’t noticed. She has a gift, and is applying her knowledge, skills and abilities to change people lives by helping to heal the route cause of their symptoms (infections) not just treating the symptoms themselves with meds! I highly recommend her for yourself or any of your friends and family that need help diagnosing and treating chronic illness! Dr Elena Frid has and continues to change our lives and we are so thankful for her and the work she does including IVIG infusions in her office! (She is amazing with our two girls and they love her as well). The RN who does the IVIG infusions is excellent and extremely knowledgeable and personable! Also, we would not be receiving our IVIG infusions so smoothly if it wasn’t for the help and support of her office manager who is amazing! He is assertive and very helpful in getting IVIG scheduled and approved by insurance! If y are debating the need to see her, stop waiting and get an appointment ASAP to begin the path to feeling better and getting your best life back! (We travel from Illinois to NYC to see her and it’s 100% worth it)! We feel so understood, reassured, and hopeful to have a Physician like Dr Frid that actually believes our symptoms and works with us to diagnose and treat the problems! It’s been life changing! Dr. Frid is an awesome doctor who is extremely compassionate. She takes the time to listen to all my concerns. Due to Dr. Frid's comprehensive, thorough care, I am able to maintain my independence and work at a job I love despite having health challenges. Everyone on "Team Dr. Frid" is very kind and supportive. This is greatly appreciated especially on "IVIG" days.

I am not an active poster on social media but have gained so much from being guided by parents like all of you. I had to post about my son’s (12) experience with Doctor Frid and her staff Anton and Melanie. Dr. Frid is the utmost professional and her thorough approach has resulted in IVIG for my son. I don’t know his long term prognosis and I know everyone reacts differently to IVIG, but after my son’s first two days on IVIG my husband and I were describing him as a ‘new kid’. He is back this week for his second set of IVIG and I have been reminded by the care and compassion of the team. With Dr. Frid overseeing, Anton managing the ops and Melanie being an amazing nurse it is the most comfortable place to be in this nightmare of a parent journey. My son was actually looking forward to going today since he feels better and he is super comfortable there even as his introverted self. Again, I don’t know what is to come but with Dr. Frid’s brilliance and understanding of these diseases I know we are in the best hands. My second son (10) is now going through testing for IVIG.

Dr. Frid is an exceptional physician and a knowledgeable and thoughtful diagnostician. She listens and takes the time to truly understand her patients' symptoms, her exam is thorough and she is able to run the necessary tests to treat the causes of patients' illnesses. She collaborates with the best practitioners in New York to be sure that her patients receive the treatment and care that they need. Anton, Jess, Angelica and and her entire team are fantastic.

I have been treated by Dr Frid going on 3 years I travel
From Maine twice year to have a face to face e consult. She is excellent in all aspects of you profession. I’m getting better and I owe it all to her knowledge and abilities. I can’t thank her enough. God bless her for all that she does.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Frid since May 2018. She was very sick both mentally and physically. She has lost her teen years to these illnesses but Dr. Frid is working hard to give her her life back. She is kind and compassionate (and brilliant and always learning) and spends every minute of every appointment with us. My daughter is so much better than she was then. We still have a long road ahead of us but I am confident Dr. Frid will heal her. She also receives IVIG in office and we travel up from NC for it. I feel very secure having it done in office and the staff is great. The nurse, Melanie, is awesome! My daughter doesn't really take to most people but she really likes Melanie and she had made the time she has to spend there to receive her IVIG so much more relaxed. Thank you Dr. Frid and your entire staff for all that you do.

A physician who brings her skills as a neurologist in with an awareness of Lyme and co-infections, Dr. Frid is quite brilliant. Her knowledge on Lyme and coinfections is vast, and my impression is that she is continually adding to her understanding - something that I don't see many doctors doing these days. It's entirely unique to find a doctor I can ask so many questions and have so many answers and/or a discussion about possibilities. Did I mention she's brilliant? We are very happy to have found her and greatly appreciate Anton and her team in coordinating treatments and scheduling and for helping to set everything up and get important questions answered.

Dr. Frid is a kind, caring, and thorough doctor. She returns all emails and has even taken the time out of her schedule to call me when my daughter was really sick. I love her staff, too. They are also friendly and professional.

Dr Frid knows how to elicit information from the patient to know which medications to use. Unfortunately there are not many physicians that know how to do this. Dr Frids listening skills are in a class of her own! Dr Frid responds quickly to your emails and phone calls and is very compassionate. I feel very confident that my child under Dr. Frids care will be cured of her complex condition. Thank goodness for her!

Dr. Frid is a true believer in lyme and praying on the desperate people that have had the misfortune of contracting it. If you have thousands of dollars laying around and all the time in the world to show no sign of improvement then dr. Frid is the doc for you. Please do not be fooled by her husbands 'professional' responses which honestly I'm surprised don't come with a price tag like her $125 charge for simply answering emails. There are lyme docs out there that DO take insurance and also still posses the sense of human compassion which dr. Frid sadly lacks.

Office staff is always nice and does everything they can to help. I feel like I’m really being listened to with Dr. Frid, and she communicates with me quickly when I have complications. I’m a tough case, have been sick a very long time, and have failed innumerable doctors’ treatments. With Dr. Frid, I’m making tentative progress towards wellness, after three and a half months of care. I’ll post an update.

Dr. Frid is excellent. If you have a difficult case of Lyme and the conditions that are related to it, go to her. She is brilliant, easy to talk to, and open minded. Whether I’m on the upswing or not feeling well, sometimes it’s hard for me to understand where I’m at with my progress. No matter how much information I throw at her in one appointment, she listens, looks at my tests and has the ability to summarize everything so I have a clear picture of what is going on, and helps me figure out what the next step is in my treatment. I couldn’t have gotten to where I am today without her. She is sensitive to the needs of different types of patients. Her office staff is always professional and friendly and there is never a long wait to see her. I am so grateful to have her as my doctor!
