Very good stay in October 2021 where there were still Covid restrictions, therefore during breakfast hours there was a delay in getting a table for breakfast.
The room turned out to be very comfortable, especially the bed, with a desk and armchair that we used to place our suitcases.
The hotel's location is excellent

Place was very close to everything a visitor on tour wants. Nice rooms. Breakfast is jammed unless you start early like we did.

My gf and I booked our room days in advance and were told the rooms would be ready by at least 3 o'clock. We arrived at 5 and were told our room wasn't ready and were forced to sit in the lobby for nearly an hour. We will not be staying here again

We had a decent stay here. The rooms are small but what can you expect in NYC. During our stay, the front desk assigned another family our room and they walked in while I was changing. The employees apologized for the inconvenience, but that was unacceptable! On the other hand the breakfast and happy hour were good. Not sure if we will stay here again.

Location is very central to most tourist attractions in midtown. Room was decent, breakfast was ok, but the dining room was so small people were often waiting a while to find a seat, the experience can be quite chaotic.

This property cancelled our booking last minute without even trying to contact us siting my CC didn't work. I was on the way to the property with my family with 2 infants. We were driving for almost 7 hours from Washington and when we were arriving in NY we realised the booking has been cancelled. On top of it the manager Beverly was really rude to us when we called the property and wasn't trying to to help us at all when we were basically begging her saying that we will be stranded! We had the booking done 3 weeks prior and getting it canceled just 2 hours prior to arriving in the hotel was terrifying as we are not from US!

Worst Hilton Property at which I have stayed: (Upon arrival in the evening, one of the desk clerks was being extremely rude to a customer on the phone, stating, "God Himself couldn't help you". It was not "Mo". Our room was not what we had requested and we were told there was an exact room on the third floor.well, the layout was the same, but the square footage was a shoebox. We paid for a suite, but got a studio. I was told that no one on staff could help me and I would have to contact corporate and open a case. I did so and called twice, with no resolution. I am no longer a Hilton Honors member!

The hotel in general Is located in a good area next to a lot of eateries and historical spots. While the hotel itself isn’t bad, our room “911” was not so great. Gnats were coming out of the shower drain.highly disappointing and disgusting. I asked for some kind of cleaning to be done to help prevent or pour something down the drains but no help given. If your given room “911” request a room change right away. Would love to speak to someone about this. This was a big trip for us and to have to deal with gnats is ridiculous.

Great location, right in the middle of mid-town. Good selection of restaurants within an easy walk. But.rooms are very small (typical for location I guess). Free breakfast was disgusting. Too many people all at the same time looking for food. Cramped tables (if you can find a place to sit). Ran out of several breakfast items when I was there my one and only time (I wound up eating breakfast across the street most mornings). Room AC failed, repaired then failed again completely forcing us to pack up and move to a new (even smaller) room. Could not get the hotel to provide any non-token compensation for the MAJOR inconvenience! Shame on them! I am letting Hilton Honor figure that out now.

Convenient hotel in NY, average service, rooms in line, American Breakfast. Nothing special, but convenient if you need to stay in midtown

We stayed with my daughter from August 11 to 20. Unbeatable location and good size rooms with good beds.
Friendly and willing staff.
They promise daily cleaning but if you don't let us know and ask for it, they won't do it.
I would have given it a higher star if it weren't for the fact that I'm still waiting for my security deposit to be refunded, when it's been more than three weeks since we checked out. I am sending them messages and emails daily and they don't even deign to respond. It's a shame to have to post this review because the stay was very good. But this issue of the non-refunded deposit really obscures the experience.

I just edited the review to 1 star because another month has passed and I have not yet received the refund of my security deposit. Very unserious and without answers. I have to consider lost 342 USD. It's more than 10% of what I paid for the accommodation!

Kenneth gave me a $500 cleaning fee for leaving my clothes on the ground and refused to budge when I questioned how ridiculous that was. AVOID THESE CROOKS AT ALL COSTS… KENNETH IS MONEY HUNGRY AND EVIL!

The dining room floor was always sticky
The dining floor was always packed with people (therefore, the air was stuffy)
The number of elevators available is definitely not enough do there was always a line to use them
The staff could really improve their friendlyness
I lost the debit card with which I had made the reservation during the trip, so I checked out using a different one. Their system is so dumb that they ended charging me the total amount in both. Still wainting for the 4k refund

I completed check-in on the Hilton app and selected my room. When I arrived at the hotel the app said it was sending me the key for me room. I waited for 5 minutes for the app to send me the key and then went to the desk to ask what was going on. The woman at the desk was very, very rude and accused me on not completing the check-in process and basically washed her hands to me by saying, "you can say you finished the process, but I don't see anything on my end. " I then asked for a manager to help because I knew that was not correct. The manager said that the guest staying there decided to extend their stay and they gave my room away. They only had a room left on the 5th floor, but I selected the 10th floor for a view. The woman at the desk said that's all I have left, or you can cancel. I told her I had nowhere to stay, so basically, she told me take it or leave. Terrible customer service and a lack of professional etiquette. She did nothing to try to make a bad situation better, only worse. I feel it was totally unacceptable the way I was treated. I think this hotel has some potential to be a great hotel. However, some improvements would need to be made with the staff at the front desk, cleaning crew needs to do better with cleaning bathrooms and floors, replenishing coffee/tea/cups/soap/lotion, etc. The breakfast wasn't so great or fresh and the restaurant needs to have a better variety of food and answer the phone to accept orders rather than send calls to voicemail. The happy hour was chaotic, long lines, crowded with no place to sit. Rooms need to be repaired. My TV was broken, the bathroom door could not open or close and floor was dirty. All in all not the best experience and not the Hilton standard I've become accustomed to as a business traveler.

Rooms decent, location fine, breakfast OK. Hotel stay totally spoilt by lady on reception named Lianne (or something not dissimilar). Really let down the excellent service provided by Kevin and sergio in fourth floor restaurant and Adam the assistant near reception. Asked directions and was treated like an idiot, eyes rolled and with a raised voice was told 'ask him over there! ' if you do not like dealing with the public, change careers. Was helped with directions and a leaflet/map from Dino (thank you). This lady was rude on two occasions. Left a very sour taste. You let everyone down, your colleagues, the hotel, me and my wife on our anniversary trip. Thank you!
