Emily's is all that everyone says. Is the Emmy Burger the best I have ever had? No, I still think I will give that award to Black Iron Burger, but this is like comparing a Ferrari to a Lamborghini, sometimes it comes down to personal preference. Let's start with our appetizer which was the Quinn Pizza. It is a six slice white pie consisting of four cheeses, mozzarella, havarti, pecorni, and ricotta cheese. It came out smoking hot, perfectly well done with a bottom charred to perfection. The pie was slightly salty (perfectly salted), creamy and full of flavor. For those ordering the burger, you might want to skip appetizers as the burger is large and smothered with caramelized onions and Grafton cheddar cheese. I especially love the pretzel bun as the juices are absorbed and not lost. More importantly, the bun does not fall apart as the typical seeded roll would. The onions are amazing and have flavors that are developed in the caramelization process. The server did not know what was added to the onions, but there was a distinct savory flavor that was not the typical additives (balsamic vinegar/wine/sugar). So, why was this burger ranked slightly below Black Iron Burger. It is just opinion. I find that you are able to taste the meat in Black Iron a little more easily, and trying to compare apples to apples, I had both on pretzel buns and it seemed as if the burger itself was slightly juicier in Black Iron. This is almost ridiculous to say as I am trying to separate the creaminess and silkiness of the onions from the burger and it really is impossible. Also, my taste buds on Monday could be different than Tuesday. Would you rather drive a Ferrari or a Lamborghini? We sat outside and the server was attentive and the service was excellent for outdoor dining. Our neighbors at the other table had the Hot Wings and the Roasted Beet Salad and both came out fresh and vibrant. The wings were smoking and they both said that both dishes were delicious. Unfortunately, after a pizza and three burgers, we were all stuffed and could not sample any of the other menu items. How would I rate the burger? I would be an idiot to say it wasn't delicious. It is delicious and one of the best you can ever have.

I had the burger not worth the hype. To me it tastes just like a frozen patty taken out of freezer and cooked. If you want quality I suggest you go to Peter luger's and you can taste the meat and quality that makes you feel like you're eating something good for your cash. Not over rated pretzel burgers which now costs about $30. And you hope when you get to Emily they have order enough meat for there burger. Other wise you will get the excuse we sold out.

First off, BEST BURGER IN BROOKLYN HANDS DOWN, but this should not be a pizza place. The burger is the main attraction. The pizza here is mediocre and you would be better off going to an old & authentic Italian pizzeria place in Brooklyn. Secondly, THE WINGS ARE AMAZING, the second best thing behind the burger.

Must Have:

• Emmy Burger
• Spicy Wings

One of the best burgers I’ve ever tried in my life. The taste is so good. The sauce is amazing and meat is perfectly cooked. I enjoyed it so much. The fries were so good but the ketchup had something so special. I highly recommend this place, the attention and the personal were so friendly.

One of my favorite burgers in the category of decadent burgers you need to go home and sleep off after.

The burger is okay. Listed as the best burger in New York but i think there are better options. Friendly staff and nice location though.

One of the tastiest pizzas I’ve had in my life. I still have cravings for it and unfortunately for me there’s just nothing similar in the UK.

I can't get over how much I enjoyed my meal at Emily. Of course, I had to get the pizza, but of course I also had to get the burger.

I went with two family members and between us, we split: the chicken wings, a pizza and EACH got a burger. What a good decision.

The chicken wings were good, but I would have preferred them to be crispier and spicier, but they were really good.

We did a classic pie with pepperoni and if I could eat that pepperoni all day, I would.

Now, as a burger lover, I was BLOWN away by the burger AND the fries. It's savory and a bit of sweet somehow, and I'm in love. At this point I was stuffed so I brought half the burger home which was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

We even split the banana pudding for dessert and I don't even like banana pudding, usually.

A+ food but the space is small, so make a reservation and go early!

Spent hours researching the best burgers in NY on YouTube and Instagram and tried ten different restaurants. The burger here was by far the best! It's called "Emmy Burger" and it was just perfect in every way. It's $27 but definitely worth it. I tried burgers for $50+ that couldn't compare to this burger. The fries were great too. Will be back to try the pizza too!

Emily offers what some list as the best burger in New York. I know burgers, I love burgers, burgers are favorite meals of mine and this ladies and gents is a great burger. Is this the best burger in town? Well I can't say for sure, but I can tell you that it's a very substantial burger that will leave you wondering.

Of course the pizzas here are also quite delicious; for something more unique almost dessert like, try the Emily pizza.

Although extremely popular, Emily is good for walk-ins if you arrive within an hour of opening time. Service is efficient and friendly enough but not warm - they seem mostly concentrated on turning tables.

I think you’ll be happy with anything you order here. Brussel sprouts semi-charred in a small cast iron skull are hard to stop eating. Ditto for the meaty hot wings. The burger is everything you’ve heard, although $27 seems steep. I sadly discovered that the incredible square pies I sampled at a tasting event are available only at the West Village location. That being said, their round pies are pretty damn good.

The burger is outstanding (onion heavy though and needs ketchup added). Wings are huge and delicious with a unique flavour. Pizza's are great also!

Yes, it’s pricey and yes, you may have to wait, but like all good things, it’s worth it! Our hostess told us it would be about an hour before we could get a table for 2. And this was on a normal Wednesday night in January. But eating out in the West Village amidst all the constant hum and excitement of the youth makes the wait highly tolerable. And when we sat down, we knew we had to try the $26 burger. I recalled the scene from Pulp Fiction when John Travolta incredulously remarks “That’s a five dollar shake? ! ” And we also ordered the Vodka sauce pizza to share. After each bite of both entrees, I was reminded why it was so crowded – because it’s just damn good! So yes, treat yourself and get in there even if you have to wait. You won’t be disappointed.

Ive only had the pizza.

I was moderately excited to try this place - I’ve heard good things. And i also feel like these sit down artisanal pizza places have a high floor. Plus I went right after the gym and was super hungry. Cant go wrong, right?

My first disappointment was seating. We went during peak hours but there was a 30 minute wait for 3. Yikes. Popular place. When we sat it was super tight, but I probably want more space than your typical brooklyn person.

As for the pizza itself, it was nothing special. I ordered camp randall, a favorite, i was told. It kinda tasted like a home made pizza from scratch - if you’ve ever done that. The toppings were kinda weak but I wolfed the whole thing in minutes.

I ended up paying $34 for a beer, pizza, and a tip. Ive heard the burger is good here so if i come back ill try that, but for standard pizza and cramped seating i think youre better off going somewhere else.
