I saw Dr. Schaeffer yesterday for a new patient consult and was honestly quite nervous due to horrible past dentists experiences, but I was beyond impressed and even more comfortable than I could have expected. Dr Schaeffer never made me feel bad or embarrassed about my teeth condition and was very understanding to my personal situation and was/is very open and willing to work with me to help me get my teeth in better shape as well as to help me figure out how to keep them in as best condition possible. From the moment you walk in the door you get a completely different, very positive and light mood/vibe which was incredible, seeing everyone who truly seemed like they enjoyed what they were doing! The ladies in the back were just as sweet and caring and very gentle and I didn't feel rushed and they let me take a breather during x rays and always checked up making sure I was doing alright. Thank you for a great first appt! I'd definitely recommend!

I’ve lived in Syracuse for 3 years. I can’t find anyone that measures up to Dr. Emily. It’s her skill with cosmetics. She is so meticulous. I hit 50, with a pandemic. I really needed to do something for myself. I drove to Buffalo to see Dr. Emily & decided, it’s Mask Season. And I treated myself to invisilign. By the time my mask comes off, my smile will be flawless. I invested in Me. She truly is the Best. Highly recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Schaefer - and her fantastic staff! - for about 3 years. I went to them after a crown kept falling off and having to be reattached by another. Dr. Schaefer immediately was able to determine the root of the problem. Her attentive and pleasant manner is very comforting. Further everyone at the office from the front office folks to the hygienists are all pleasant, professional and amazing. Finding a dentist you can be comfortable going to is a huge relief. Thanks!

I've been going to Dr. Emily for a few years, but my appointment today was really the tipping point for me.

I chipped a tooth two days ago, called yesterday to make an appointment, and got a mid-day appointment today. Within 20 minutes I was in and out, and the formerly chipped tooth looks even better than it did pre-chip. She even did some cosmetic work to the tooth next to it (unsolicited, but warranted).

In the end, it didn't cost anything out of pocket: the whole thing was covered by insurance (YMMV!). Overall, a 100% five star experience, and honestly it's been that way every single time I see Dr. Emily. She and her staff are just fantastic.

Emily is a wonderful dentist. She is very gentile and so nice. The hygienists are all also very friendly and good. Reception is also so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this for a dentist in Buffalo any day!

When I moved to Buffalo, I wanted to make sure I found a good dentist and I instantly found one. I’m always so satisfied with how thorough Dr. Schafer’s work is. She, along with everyone else that works there, is so pleasant, warm, and friendly. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else!

I love it here! Always incredibly friendly and greet you be name when you walk in, the experience is very relaxed and personal. I’ve never experienced a dentist or doctors office like this. I don’t hate going to the dentist anymore!

Wow! What an appointment. How many times in your life have you ever been excited to go to a dentist. I was quite pleasantly surprised about the parking right in front and the spacious waiting room. I didn't have much time to appreciate either as I was immediately taken in to the examining room to receive a routine cleaning. Another surprise! They used some type of ultra sonic or laser cleaning that can sometimes be undesirable. No ringing or singing in my ears, the hygienist was perfect in every execution! Then Dr. Schaefer came in and since i was a new patient to both her and the hygentist- literally count my teeth in anatomical order, looked at each x ray and assessed each one while she was examining! She knew my teeth better than I do after 55 years (of me looking at them) and made some appropriate comments and recommendations for future preventative/able techniques for great teeth in the future! Kudos to the whole staff - I was in and out within 35 minutes on a initial appointment!

Doctor Emily has been my dentist for about a year now. Every time I visit her office, I am greeted by her more than friendly staff, while enjoying the comfortable and cozy waiting room. My hygienist (Ann) leaves my teeth feeling fresh and amazing, while also educating me on how and why I should look after the health of my mouth. You can really tell Doctor Emily is compassionate about her profession, because it shows in the work and environment which she has created. I always leave with a smile on my face, and cannot wait to go back.

Been a patient of Dr. Emily for a few years now and she is fantastic! So is her staff! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and makes you feel comfortable. Not like other dental offices that feel cold and your just another patient. I feel I always get the best personalized care and preventative care tips! Highly recommend!

This is the best dentist in Buffalo, the staff are amazing! The office manager, Sue, is very welcoming and wonderful. Liz does a phenomenal job with my teeth cleanings and I leave feeling completely pampered.
